once i got high at a friends house and we were sitting in the living room and my foot started to itch. I took of my sock and it felt amazing. I told my friend "dude, take of your sock"

Oh then I am just the one you should ask! Cowboy Bebop's OST is very varied though, everything from blues to soul to funk to big band jazz, so its hard to give you something based on that.
But as for funk, ain't none better than The Meters :)

Start with the acid and smoke some weed while coming up. Drop the E a little after peaking on the acid. Keep smoking the weed whenever you feel like you are coming down, and you'll be pushed right up again.
