/g/ am I right?
Thanks. Also, thanks for making bold letters, really helped. But, you spelled Google wrong. So many people type Goggle by mistake all the time no biggy. Unless goggle is something else?
Goggle was known as a site that contained horrible viruses, adware, spyware, and granny porn. Although people went to the site to just find an ad. That's pretty much it. But then some say it does have all those bad crap, it just requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or under. Bad! :(
A lot of this puts extra stress on the server, so it isn't ideal if you visit low-bandwidth forums a lot.
I could only type in the first 5; the others weren't recognized. Will it still work? By the way, WHEN IS FIREFOX 3.0 GONNA COME OUT???
I could only type in the first 5; the others weren't recognized. Will it still work? By the way, WHEN IS FIREFOX 3.0 GONNA COME OUT???
When 2.0 becomes obsolete :downs:.
FIXED! I fixed the google typo. And the things you type can't have a period at the end. For example:
It would be: network.http.pipelining.maxrequests And not: network.http.pipelining.maxrequests. <--- you see, don't put a period here!
Wasn't this posted before? Oh well, It's still useful, rated wrench.
I only did the first 6 or so, but I dunno if it will make too much of a difference if I add the others.
Wow, thanks for the info, even if it is a repost. :D
Thanks for the help. I will try it out now. :excited:
OR.. Get Opera. :excited:
Thanks. Your the best ever!
What part about copy&pasta is confusing you? :v:
Instead of doing all that, you can simply use this free program. Firetune http://www.totalidea.com/content/firetune/firetune-index.html Worked like a charm for me.
There's an unsupported port to OpenBSD.
I did this a while ago, and didn't really notice anything too much faster.
Awesome! Thanks! It loaded a page quickly that otherwise took forever! :4chan:
I think that actually made my Firefox slower... EDIT: I just did steps 1 to 5 and I think my Firefox is faster (if only by a little bit), thanks a lot!

12 steps? I would do it if i wasn't so fucking lazy.
Firefox is in my opinion the best browser ever made until now.
Translation:
What's Opera?
:excited: :eng101: Edit:
There's an unsupported port to OpenBSD.
How about NetBSD? :ninja: I could run it on my toaster! :v:
This works, but Youtube is slow as fuck.
OR.. Get Opera. :excited:
Haha, I was just about to say that :v:
This and that fasterfox slow firefox down for me.
Fasterfox does all this for you.
OR.. Get Opera. :excited:
And lose out on AdBlock, DTA, etc?
And lose out on AdBlock, DTA, etc?
I posted this for someone else too:
I posted this for someone else too:
Ok but you have to add EVERYTHING manually, there's no filter updater, no icon above Flash/Java etc. Also, still no DTA etc. It doesn't have a plugin system, only the useless widget thing which has an icon for every widget floating on your desktop. Need I go on?
I use fasterfox. I have to say however, I haven't actually noticed a difference. I always install in a fresh install, and never because browsing was slow. I should test that out..
