Don't forget the auto link addon!
But does it stop all, even good scripts, from running?
That's pretty unconvenient...
No risk no fun I guess...
Also, I figured out everybody here knew after a week that Firefox was the greatest browser ever. :v:
Pretty much most people here; like windows or linux and use firefox. :v:
Get adblock plus.
Well, i don't like it. It's the only way for many websites to earn money.
IE 6 is terrible, but IE 7 is okay. IE 7 is my main browser as there's nothing wrong with it really.
Get Firefox for a week and you'll regret saying that.
Download the following addons:
Adblock Plus [no more flash and text ads!]
Firefox companion for Ebay [search and check ebay from FireFox]
Foxytunes [control almost any media player from FireFox]
Google Toolbar [always there for any type of search]
Google Web Accelerator [caches all web images faster and loads pages faster]
Image zoom [Zoom into images by holding right click and scrolling]
VideoDownloader [download streaming videos like youtube videos]
Webmail notifier [Notifier for hotmail, gmail etc.]
Also, SmoothWheel for smooth scrolling (I like it better than the built-in smooth scroll that you can enable in Options, because it actually gives the page sort of a momentum when you scroll it) and DownThemAll for downloading things quickly.

You, sir, are of the Good alignment. Have a friendly rating.
I don't really get these addons though... are they supposed to show up on the screen after i download them or what? I just downloaded that download status bar and there is no bar on my Firefox! Yes i did restart Firefox... I'm not that stupid...
Download status bar will only appear when you download a file.
It takes away the default Firefox pop-up window download manager and condenses it down to a little bar at the bottom.
Adblock Plus will put a little red Stop Sign somewhere on your toolbar.
When you restart firefox, You should subscribe to the US list..
Firefox is really great, it's friendly, nice, warm to the touch, cuddley, soft, like to hold it in bed...huh what where was i? Oh yeah it actually crashed on me a few times in the past month, i think it was probably a faulty plugin though.
Firefox will keep illegals out of America!
Get adblock plus.
I agree, get it. It works so perfectly. No more annoying lag from pop up ads!
I have firefox but I use IE from time to time.
Mainly when checking youtube comments and googling, my back and foward buttons on my mouse and homepage button on my keyboard work much better on IE.
On firefox when checking my youtube comments, if I go back and then into a new video comments list, it will show me the one I've just been on whereas IE will work as expected and my home page button will open a new window whereas in IE it does it in the same one.
Firefox is good, but it's not a fucking godsend, people should really just shut the fuck up about how much they fap to firefox, the fanboys stalled me for a very long time before I finally got it when IE was on a crashing spree.
I guess it's more of a joke though about how much brilliance firefox does, kinda like the Chuck Norris fad.

Plus it doesn't stop flash games and you can even tell it to block specified pictures. Like I blocked the default avatar.
Hey all i just wanted to let you know after being frustrated with internet explorer i finally grew some balls, tried something new, and switched to Firefox! Any tips you might have since i am new with this Firefox thing? And what is the big difference (Don't yell at me i know its better that Internet Explorer)
I must say i like this spell checker thing... Instead of having to click on the Google one i downloaded.
There's a better web browser, it's really cool! It has tons more features than Firefox
Get some add ons.
These are the ones I have:

You should get Opera if you don't get any addons for Firefox. Opera is fast and very stable. But, there is virtually no way to customize unless you use "widgets". Anyway, you must get the StumbleUpon addon for Firefox. It may be the best thing ever. Seriously. SumbleUpon is like virtual crack because it affects your health because of lack of sleep (you'll see what I mean) and because it is addicting. Just... one... more... click...
Okay. Now switch to Opera.
You've got balls, but when you get the dick, go to opera. hahaha.
I have to agree with the Opera crowd. Firefox is nice if you're into a lot of customization, but Opera is really clean and efficient as well as completely stable and safe without the need for any extra add-ons.
I didn't even realize that came with Firefox I thought it was a part of Facepunch.
:downs:
Why did I get 9 funnies and 2 winners for that? I'm serious!
EDIT: Haha! I have 69 smartness.
Thanks to Firefox, I've never made a post that lost me smartness!
Welcome to firefox, enjoy your porn!
IE is good for downloading Firefox
You use windows to make partitions for Linux.
All windows does is to help you get better software.
Speed dial, ad block plus, script blocker, and foxcast enhanced are all must have plugins.
I really like chatzilla, back to top, and g-space as well.
Join our half-religion cult-browser.
I love firefox. I pimped it out with an MP3 player, a cool downloader and adblock
Yes when I type something in on the message box... it will underline things in red that I misspelled! Very convenient I must say!
It's an absolute must have for Facepunch, although I prefer the UK dictionary but it keeps changing to US.
Why are people scared to try something else? It's not going to hurt your computer.
Quickly, download 17 addons to bring it up to scratch.
Press F11. It's the way I usally surf the web... (and no this does not have the same effect as pressing Alt+F4...)
Whenever I went on a computer at school, I would install Firefox on it, then delete any shortcuts to Internet Explorer.
