It's a pity the Mac port is a shadow of the Windows and Linux versions.
Firefox is just so sweet.
I doesn't fuck up, unlike "uber"- IE. :D
Welcome to the bright side, mate. :D
Meh, I like Internet Explorer better.
And some people shit in a cup.
And some people shit in a cup.
And millions of people watch it.
I had to use IE at school today for my research project.
I almost cried.
My teachers and classmates often chuckle at my incessant grumbling of,
"fuckin' Internet Explorer."
"What the hell is this shit? GET OPERA"
The list goes on.
Neon_Knight strongly agrees with the stumbleupon plugin idea.
Do it do it do it do it.
Get the mouse gestures addon.
My FF doesn't have a spell-checker. :crying:
Get Firefox for a week and you'll regret saying that.
I used Firefox for months and there's nothing special about it. The add-ons don't seem to do anything that I really need. Adblock? No thanks, people pay to put their adverts on websites and it's unfair to block it out. Customize google? I'm happy with normal google. Download status bar? Useless, I can just minimize the download window. I look the like of IE 7 a lot better than firefox anyways and the IE 7 themes for firefox don't do it justice.
Also I've tried Opera but it doesn't have the option to use ctrl + numbers to switch tabs, it didn't seem to handle multiple youtube videos on one page very well and I'm scrolling down I always accidentally right click for some reason but in opera when I do this it opens up a new tab which really gets on my nerves.

Firefox actually PASSES THE ACID2 TEST. Happy?

That's the most batshit reason to hate on firefox. For fucking optional shit that you don't even need to know exists.
My spellchecker is broken in firefox anyone know why?
If it helps I am using Vista [♥]
I found the "faviconize tabs" plugin to be really useful.
As the name suggests, it gives you the ability to cut the tab down to the size of it's Favicon.
One must-have addon: Adblock Plus. Downaload it and apply filter set and you'll never see an ad before!
Nobody cares, don't be so slow next time.
Hey all i just wanted to let you know after being frustrated with internet explorer i finally grew some balls, tried something new, and switched to Firefox! Any tips you might have since i am new with this Firefox thing? And what is the big difference (Don't yell at me i know its better that Internet Explorer)
I must say i like this spell checker thing... Instead of having to click on the Google one i downloaded.
You can have plugins, which are useful.
And clicking with the mouse wheel on the go button opens the url in the bar in a new tab, so type google.com in the address bar and click with the wheel and it'll open in a new tab. Works with any url.
It really frustrated me that it didn't work like that in IE when I was on my bro's PC the other day.
And you can have themes too.
Oh and stumbleupon. It's brilliant.
Now switch to opera.
Press F11. It's the way I usally surf the web... (and no this does not have the same effect as pressing Alt+F4...)
In case you're wondering, it just makes firefox occupy the whole screen, and hides everything but the tabs and address bars.
I think IE has this feature too but who cares when you can have firefox?
Also, you just toggle it using F11
Like I blocked the default avatar.
Cool I didn't think of that!

Actually the one in IE7 is better, everything's gone and the webpage is fullscreen until you try and use any toolbar. But one good feature compared to loads doesn't matter.
What does Stumble Upon do anyways?
What does Stumble Upon do anyways?
Never ending entertainment. Just click the stumble button and it will take you to a random website that has been set to your liking. Say you are into video games, you make an account on stumble upon and tell it you like video games, and then it will take you to random video game websites.
Firefox is nice... but I will probally never switch from Opera. According to secunia (http://secunia.com/), It's the most secure browser out there. Firefox and Safari are on the same level of security, and then there's IE which is as safe as hellfire.
'Bout time !
Firefox rapes internet explorer
Why do all schools block Firefox? In every thread about Firefox or IE somebody cries about his school forcing him to use IE.
In my school Firefox is the standard web browser on every PC.

Control+Scroll.
A god send for small font websites, and blind people like myself.

And with FF3 it scales EVERYTHING :4chan:
I had Firefox. Because of several problems I had with it, I switched to Opera.
And with FF3 it scales EVERYTHING :4chan:
Did that in IE7 since the first release.
I don't like IE7 and will always use Firefox, I'm just informing.
Wow i now love Stumble! Any other amazing addons?
