Don't believe me? Try it! I don't think this is against any rules. Sorry if this is old!
Only in Firefox 3.
I'm using Firefox 2.
It's just like google's "I'm feeling Lucky" feature. -_- EDIT: Now try to give me a unfriendly for that smiley. EDIT: BAHAHAHA
This works with most websites. Type in Wikipedia or Gamespot 360, or even Tweakguides Battlefield 2...
also opera
I'm using Firefox 2.
Ah, you mean AFTER pressing enter. In firefox 3, the drop-down list of typed urls also searches in the Page titles for what you type.
I see. Edit: heh, works if you type facepunch too.
Only in Firefox 3.
Ahem. You don't know what you're talking about. He just meant typing it into the address bar, because that would make the web page appear!
In Firefox, it automatically I'm Feeling Lucky's whatever you type if it's not a proper URL.

It doesn't work for me. :(
Lol, I put "OIFY" in the search bar for Firefox 3 and got a drop bar linking to this thread :D
Wow it does work. Way to go Firefox!
The list that comes up in FF3 is your site history.
The list that comes up in FF3 is your site history.
Yeah, but now it actually looks in the page titles as well as the URLs for whatever you type in.
We don't go there.
type in "fucking incredible" :excited:
Firefox just does an "I'm feeling Lucky" Google search and shows the first page :excited:
Yeah, but now it actually looks in the page titles as well as the URLs for whatever you type in.
It is fucking annoying, it is possible to turn off? When I press ne I want urls beginning with ne to come up (news.bbc.co.uk), that is how I browse.
It is fucking annoying, it is possible to turn off? When I press ne I want urls beginning with ne to come up (news.bbc.co.uk), that is how I browse.
I was going to ask the same thing. I preferred the FF2 Visited Websites list.
Amazing!
Ah , I think it only searches history and bookmarks, I've tried searching things you have suggested and I don't get results on most, only ones I have bookmarked.
Ah , I think it only searches history and bookmarks, I've tried searching things you have suggested and I don't get results on most, only ones I have bookmarked.
I noticed this also :<
also opera
Your fucking avatar gets me every time!
Firefox 3 does it. Works. Yes, this the most important news in history since the holocaust.
I get this: http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8&fr=megaup&p=oify  (also using Firefox 2 by the way...) Edit:
In Firefox, it automatically I'm Feeling Lucky's whatever you type if it's not a proper URL.
not for me... it directs me to a yahoo search of said term... :(
