This works with most websites. Type in Wikipedia or Gamespot 360, or even Tweakguides Battlefield 2...
also opera

Ah, you mean AFTER pressing enter.
In firefox 3, the drop-down list of typed urls also searches in the Page titles for what you type.
I see.
Edit:
heh, works if you type facepunch too.

WOW.
No, really! He just meant typing it into the address bar, because that would make the web page appear!
In Firefox, it automatically I'm Feeling Lucky's whatever you type if it's not a proper URL.

The list that comes up in FF3 is your site history.

Yeah, but now it actually looks in the page titles as well as the URLs for whatever you type in.
We don't go there.

Firefox just does an "I'm feeling Lucky" Google search and shows the first page :excited:

It is fucking annoying, it is possible to turn off? When I press ne I want urls beginning with ne to come up (news.bbc.co.uk), that is how I browse.

I was going to ask the same thing. I preferred the FF2 Visited Websites list.
Ah , I think it only searches history and bookmarks, I've tried searching things you have suggested and I don't get results on most, only ones I have bookmarked.
