I hope it comes out for the BlackBerry Pearl, I hate Opera.
This is Awesome, too bad I don't have an iPhone.
So you can't just install the portable version of firefox on an iPhone or it's competing products? That blows. :(
Yay for Mozilla guys!
I hope it also comes out for the Wii :v:
I hope it also comes out for the Wii :v:
That would actually be pretty awesome, though I'm perfectly happy with the Wii's current browser.
It's about time, I was just looking for it, or a new one, last week. EDIT:
I hope it comes out for the BlackBerry Pearl, I hate Opera.
That's why I was looking for a new one. Opera is much better than IE, but they both suck on my smartphone.
FIREFOX ON MY IPOD TOUCH? FUCK YEAH!
I can't wait for it to come out.
The only reason I'd install it on an iTouch (or iPhone) is because it would most likely render SVG, the mobile version of Safari lacks that (yet the desktop version does support it) I'm sure they left it out for performance reasons, But I'd still like to see it.
A PSP version could be nice if they did it right
A PSP version could be nice if they did it right
holy shit yes. maybe one that can load embedded objects that are more than 1 meg for a fat. I haven't tried the slim's browser. I'll still assume it's crippled as well. text entry for sure. and history and recent inputs.
If this ever gets around to Smartphones, I will be in fucking heaven. Current browser makes me cut my pupils.

Opera should develop their Opera Mini to work on the iPhone too. Or maybe not.
ah, finally. Ages after everyone else.
I'm sure it isn't that hard to just compile for S-ARM...
I'm not sure this is actually new, but then again I didn't read the article. But I've used Minimo on my Pocket PC, which is Mozilla for PDA's.
same thing the slim has fucking 64 MB RAM, that's SIXTY-FOUR, sony, not ONE
Sony can't count very well :v:
Next step, an OS Mozilla Hyrdowolf
Oh my God, if only.
Again? http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minimo/
I hope there is some way I can get it onto my PSP.
Doesn't PSP already have a web browser? Or do you want a better one :D
The only problem I can see with a mobile web browser is that it's going to take forever to get it on most phones, will it not?
A PSP version could be nice if they did it right
PSP.. haha
So you can't just install the portable version of firefox on an iPhone or it's competing products? That blows. :(
The "portable" versions of programs refer to the fact the can store the program on an external storage device, and use the software on any PC without installation, not that it can be run on portable devices. Edit:
same thing the slim has fucking 64 MB RAM, that's SIXTY-FOUR, sony, not ONE
I think the web broswer runs in the PSP's 4mb VRAM or something daft like that, and when you take away the browser, and then the memory required for the actual web page, an embedded object only has around 1 mb of memory to run in.
I can only say one word: Opera: The king of web browsers. Don't know about mobile versions though.
mozilla is developing it, not firefox
Firefox 3 Beta 4 was released. Thought you might want to know as there was a thread about beta 3. Release notes:http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/3.0b4/releasenotes/ Download:http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html If you don't care or you think I'm utterly retarded just don't reply.
