Try both, then decide. I used FF for a while, and it was kinda cool, better than IE by far. I decided to switch to Opera when I saw a friend using it, to me, it LOOKS a lot better, and has the same features. I just felt more in control with Opera, and i kinda liked the interface better. I didn't know FF actually had mouse gestures at the time either.
Get Firefox and Opera. IE is shit compared to them.
Well, seems like i got my answer :D Thank you all for your answers, i think i got it now :keke: Also, Captain of page 2 :yarr: in my own thread :v:
I much prefer Opera, but that's just me.
PhirePhox.
*Gave some rating* I despise the kind of people who just get on the bandwagon and stick to it without giving a chance to the other browsers (Example : "get firefox it is much better ", <- that person is a stupid sheep with no mind of his own) Seriously, try out both Firefox and Opera (Since you obviously already tried IE) And choose the one you prefer (Test each browser at least 1 week each)
They're all free so why not get all of them and see which one you like best?
Firecocks!
First off, screw IE, delete it, forget it, just don't use it. And then I would recommend you to use Firefox. It's just that great and you can download shitloads of addons to make it safer and faster. Noscript and adblock-plus has saved my ass millions of times.

I prefer Firefox out of any browser made today.
Lot's of themes and addons YAY!
Firefox, after you have all the plugins to do what ever you want it becomes an amazing tool.
Firefox, I use IE7 mostly because it does the job for me.
I use IE7. I don't give a fuck about what the experts tell me, I can't fucking bother getting a new one.
Firefox. IE is slow for me. Same with Opera.
Firefox is my preference
FireFox.
Firefox, after you have all the plugins to do what ever you want it becomes an amazing tool.
I have nearly all of them and I love the pic2Text + LineMarker plugins. Firefox Forever :q:
I loved Opera. But I couldn't stand the lack of a bookmark toolbar.
Get FF and beast it up with addons
I'ved used them all, and they're all installed. But I personally prefer Opera. If you customize it enough you can highlight words and have people speak them. Plus opera has the mouse gestures. And it has all the basic things you can get for FF like spellchecker, tabs, colour customizations. But if you don't want to spend the time installing all of opera's addons, just get firefox.
I prefer Opera, Barely uses any resources.
Which one should i get? I got some basic info on IE, but that's only because i got it myself. I know that i has the phishing filter... which only task is to slow me down... because i haven't been to a single site yet that has activated the filter... all it does is slow me down. On the positive side.. it does have those fans on the top, for easy navigation. So, now for the question. Which one should i get because i'm looking to change to a better one... So, should i stay or go to another one?
firefox is the way to go
I use FireFox for the extensions. It just feels more customizable then Opera. Opera uses less recourses and looks better with it's default skin, though. Just try both of them and see which one you like the best. Don't touch IE7 though, you might contract some sort of fatal disease.
I personally use FireFox.
Opera. It's awesome. Firefox as backup, but Opera as main.
None of them. Use Maxthon: http://maxthon.com/ It has just about every feature found in Firefox and Opera, but it uses the Internet Explorer's Trident rendering engine so it is compatible with more websites. Because it uses IE's rendering engine also uses less memory per tab than Firefox or Opera. Maxthon 1 even has a Gecko engine mode so that it can get into Firefox-only websites as well. So it is compatible with more websites than either browser. (Gecko compatibility hasn't been implemented in Maxthon 2 yet though) Just remember that Maxthon 2 isn't really better than Maxthon 1. Maxthon 1 is more efficient with memory usage and is somewhat easier to use while Maxthon 2 has more features. Just try both of them and stick with the one you like.
Firefox.
This site compares 6 browsers. http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html
Opera. Haha! Opera wins bitches! http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html#winspeed
I loved Opera. But I couldn't stand the lack of a bookmark toolbar.
Bookmark? It's right in "Tools/Appearance/Panel..." You can put it wherever you want. You didn't gave Opera much chance, now did you? All you had to do, was go in the Options, and get whatever you wanted..
So overall, Opera seems to be the fastest browser for Windows. Firefox is not faster than Internet Explorer, except for scripting, but for standards support, security and features, it is a better choice. However, it is still not as fast as Opera, and Opera also offers a high level of standards support, security and features.
Just go for either Opera or Firefox, whichever one you prefer.
