They are all good, but i'm using Internet Explorer at the moment.
I used Opera until I realized I couldn't see embedded youtube videos. And I won't bother using Firefox because I don't need tabs for whatever I need to do. I'm still using IE6, because it works.
Also: Firefox came first with tabs( or is it fans?)!
You could try, you know, doing some research.

get firefox, there aren't as many viruses programmed for it that you would get of websites.
This will speed up your firefox browser. Just go to the website and follow the steps provided.
http://forevergeek.com/open_source/make_firefox_faster.php
Already done this to mine, also you could have just put the instructions in this thread.
FP is still slower than a snail. DAMN YOU FP
Yeh, copy the information but just give the source too. Sorted.
Already done this to mine, also you could have just put the instructions in this thread.
I did not want to plagiarize.
I did not want to plagiarize.
Wouldn't be unless you didn't include source and claimed it as your own.
Great, facepunch doesn't take a year to load anything now.
I did not want to plagiarize.
You are sadly mistaken my friend.
Copypasta:
Here’s something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up: 1.Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries: network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading. 2. Alter the entries as follows: Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true” Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true” Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once. 3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0″. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. If you’re using a broadband connection you’ll load pages MUCH faster now!
Source:http://forevergeek.com/open_source/make_firefox_faster.php Doesn't Fasterfox do this, and doesn't it put a large load on the webserver?
Wow thanks, I'd always had that gripe with firefox.
It might sound useful, but what actually happens is that you put a stupid amount of strain on the web server. It's not really a very nice thing to do.
Weird...I went on that thing and I couldn't use apostrophe anymore or copy and paste with Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. But going onto tools -> options fixed it...the fuck? :raise:
Way to just slow it down for yourself and everyone else if everyone followed your advice!
:v: And nice avatar Mikfoz. Postal has a hairy ass...err...ass...
Or you freeloaders could just get Fasterfox :downs:
Or you freeloaders could just get Fasterfox :downs:
Same thing...
This can't be too reliable.
It works.
It works.
Is it about as reliable as the friend who said he'd never sleep with your girlfriend but ended up doing it anyways?
Is it about as reliable as the friend who said he'd never sleep with your girlfriend but ended up doing it anyways?
No way. It is much faster. If you don't believe me don't do it, but it is like i have industrial grade internet. Edit: Like i push refresh and half a second later it comes, I have DSL.
No way. It is much faster.
I came.
It may speed up your browsing, but pipelining fucks so many things over. It hammers the web servers, which means its slower overall for EVERYONE, including you if other people are pipelining at the same time. Some sites are also configured to fight back against pipelining, and will cut the bandwidth to you in a heartbeat. Bad idea, Facepunch.
I loaded up firefox yesturday and came on to fp and what did i see? This! http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/3541/fperroria1.png Does anyone know what the problem is? Oh and all other websites are perfect.
That happens sometimes, just refresh the webpage, it's not a big problem
