My parents had some Yiddish stuff but I think they threw it away.
I haven't explored that stuff nearly enough. Try Kasbek and The Klezmer Conservatory Band.
I have a pretty huge list, but mainly Post Rock and Jazz. Any suggestions on what artists in those genres I should start with?
For post rock maybe get Ágætis byrjun by Sigur Rós. For jazz, Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis and A Love Supreme by John Coltrane are probably the most famous jazz albums. If you don't mind getting into something weirder get Bitches Brew by Miles Davis.

That album is something glorious...
Also the Jack Johnson and In The Corner albums are a must have.
For a starter Post Rock... Explosions in the Sky or Bark Psychosis' Hex album.
Probably classical rock. Stuff like The Beatles, or The Eagles.
