All the hands in the Red Dead Redemption peice were a bit too big..
Wait, where is it?
i cut it cause it didn't really fit
with the walking dead characters and frank they had something in common with the whole zombie apocalypse thing
with cole and marston there wasn't anything that strong to it so i wasn't feelin it.
sorry to make ye look a little silly, he was right though the hands on it were too big
Doodle while taking a test.
Sorry about the clipping part. Didn't have any eraser at that moment.

[sup][sup]I know there is a "Which tablet should I get" around here somewhere, but I couldn't find it.[/sup][/sup]

Get a bamboo if you don't wanna spend a lot of money
Otherwise I'd say get an intuos medium
I've used large tablets as well and I never felt like it was better, medium gives you all the precision you could want and there's less effort to move the cursor. Like having to lift your arm to adjust tool settings or something in the corner, that gets annoying.

Rushed through this picture of my niece tonight, I would have liked to spend more time and do a much better job but it's christmas morning now and it's a present for my sister so it'll have to do!

I guess
this may have been asked before, but does anyone here use free animation software? which one would be the best for a beginner to start out with?
I'm gonna have to disagree with mako and say a large tablet is definitely nicer to use than a medium.

EasyToon is a program like MSpaint but with the added ability for animation and Pivot is a program for animating stick figures, they are both pretty limited but they are great for learning the basics.

If I had to nitpick on something, you forgot the mandibular fenestrae, which is something all archosaur reptiles have (unless it's lost secondarily like with birds):

(The big hole on the jaw)
What skeleton cast did you use as a reference? Depending of the reconstruction it's more or less obvious (T. Rex/T. Bataar's skull has a tiny one in some casts, none in others)
My reference. And the same skeleton in different lighting. Maybe they left it out?

Utahraptor has a less obvious fenestrae as far as I've seen in other casts (The example I used was a Deinonychus):

It could be that they forgot to add it or, as it was a very tiny hole, they just don't bothered.
By the way, if you want more references for dinosaur skeleton drawings, Scott Hartman has good skeletals.
Been playing a lot of planetside recently. Drew a thing.

A friend of mine requested I draw him a picture of a schoolgirl driving a tank, because apparently that's relevant to his interests or something.

You do the entire picture, or just the girl?
You do the entire picture, or just the girl?
Entire picture. The hastily rendered girl is a little inside joke regarding said friend's unmotivated attitude to draw anything that isn't manga
Google reverse searched and tineye'd it.
Wow

Colors can seem a bit terrible because it was drawn on an uncalibrated laptop.
Dunno if it's necessary, but I pixelated the boobs.
I guess they're not that hot looking on this weird thing anyway.

I can imagine people sitting around the christmas tree enjoying christmas eve with their families when suddenly, boom!
Some kind of awkwards lizard porn with pixelated boobs shows up on their new Ipad that they wanted for christmas, and their families goes like, oh....
And then things just turn awkward.
Welp, sorry if that happens to anyone.
Christmas has been over for a while here, and I'm enjoying the beer I got as a present.
Köstlich.

Guess I'll be getting myself an Intuos.
Which series should I go for? 3? 4? 5?
5 sounds a bit expensive though.

I gotta give it to you, I played FF8 but couldn't for the life of me remember the name.
I was surprised I got Verdugo.

I've got I think an Intuos Graphire 3? If you can still get the 3 series I'd say go for that, there's no huge step up to 4 that I know of, just refinement. The 5's have touch surfaces so you can use your finger (and the whole tablet is this gorgeous matte black rubber finish, a friend of mine got one and she brought it to college every day and I was jealous) but really the 3's are functionally perfect and obviously will be the cheapest.

Get the 4 Medium.
