someone mind explaining what a photostudy is? would it just be drawing something from a reference picture?

Yessir
Sometimes you might choose to focus on just one aspect of the photo; the colour, the shadows, the shapes. The way the sky and atmosphere works; the way the reflections look.
Nobody's asking for perfection or a photo-realistic copy. The aim is simply to learn how to replicate the real world to some degree
It helps if you keep it loose, as well. Some like to set a time limit on their photostudy to ensure they use their time wisely and don't work away at detailing stuff that doesn't need their attention
working on a pic of a reoccurring nightmare of mine. How's it look composition-wise?
Sign at my local bike path.
Look at it. Fucking look at it. It has a shank.

Sketches for some paintings I'm gonna do.
Based on an idea that came up after a conversation with a friend on New Year's Eve. It's essentially a coilgun used for accelerating a small space craft to escape velocity before it leaves the ground
I was asked to do a marriage themed song, so here we go. Art is also mine and I had to censor it because it got wiped off from jewtube once already.
By the power vested on me by God and by the power
in His Word and Holy Spirit which lives in me,
I now pronounce you Husband and Wife.
You may now kiss the bride.
-Baby I love you!
I love myself too and you know what?..
I'll make you cry,
untill you become dry,
fragile like a husk,
which eventually dissolves to dust.
Repent and struggle if you must, just,
lubricate your rust,
because otherwice we are a bust.
Lovely pair with mutual disgust, in between,
it doesn't work as we have seen,
I got better things to do with my time,
sadly our paths don't rhyme,
You strip naked for a single dime,
because you're tedious like a lime,
filled with your disgusting pussy slime,
Oh god why are you even alive, it's a crime.
Now, time to lay off the cripples
Stuff my asshole with oversized pickles
Embrace my crotch and rub my nipples
Do it harder oh my god that tickles
Fondle my shiny glans with your dimples
Pierce my red hot testicles with needles
Hit me there baby, I want my boner to sprain
Oh baby please, you don't need to restrain
Blow and spin it around like a weather vane
Fucking do it till my piss starts to rain
Getting exhausted aren't we, please don't complain
What's the point in pain, if there's no gain?
Nobody's going to hurt you baby you got nothing to fear
I'm not really all that angry this specific time of year
What the fuck bitch, stop avoiding me and come near
Fucking get on me and ride I can drive and steer
I'll munch your fucking twat till the next dawn
Even if sucking that deceased muff doesn't turn me on
I'll mangle your sorry little breasts with all my brawn
Sorry, what was it? Did you say it hurts? Oh yawn.
-Beat me with a dildo, that's okay.
I sell prints on etsy; £6.50 a print (A4) but I think I could probably get away with charging more. I've sold the one print maybe 15-20 times in a few months, and etsy only gets a 3.5% cut, plus 20c for making the entry. The only difficulty is advertising, but luckily my print now shows up on the first page of searching 'pug' which is were almost all my traffic comes from.
Sold like £250 worth of stuff since september, which isn't bad seeing as I've done so little!
[editline]9th January 2013[/editline]
Also I get my prints made through http://digitalab.co.uk/
they make the nicest prints I've seen that aren't giclee; only about £1.50 for an A4 print. So yeah you keep a huge majority of the cash.
[editline]9th January 2013[/editline]
also I'd totally recommend you all start trying to sell your stuff; it's easy as fuck and gives you a pretty nice side-line without really doing much

The starting sphere is more to represent the main mass of the skull, starting from the back, than it is to contain all or part of the face
I.E something like this, excuse my not completely accurate skull -
What do you think is a picture on the right?
oh god dammit. I thought that the picture on the left is how you started and the picture on the right is what came out.

That's sort of what I was going for; I was working from some reading I did a few weeks ago and for some reason I thought that the text said that the sphere (without the added jaw extensions) was to be cut in half to get an eye-line, so I was hesitant to extend the jaw form downwards too much. But I realise now that I should revisit that text because I'm probably remembering it wrong haha
The fat guy (second to last from the bottom) was referenced

Head's a bit small
Also it's easy to get carried away with details like your airsoft gear, but just try getting your shapes in first.
Especially the neck and arms.

I think you focused a bit too much on your gear, its more the focus than you. You should work on the body shape and such first, esp since you dont seem to have bothered with the arms much at all. They look sorta like blobs rather than having defined shapes and form
