Alright, I tried toning them down a bit. How's this?

I personally like these ones a lot, the only things I see wrong with these is that the contour of his eyes is not concave and her left (from her point of view) cheek is more swollen than the other one. But maybe that's just me, I still like them.

She doesn't look younger with the fatter cheeks though, she looks the same age as before expect fat :v:

Another picture my friend drew for me. Extra, personal info bits quickly sniped out, so excuse it looking like I scissored the thing out.

I really feel like I should draw a comic dog or something.
Like some kind of DeviantArt worthy anthro shit. But with... real effort.
WELL I GUESS THAT JUST MEANS ITS HIGH TIME I DRAW A LOT OF NUDE WOMEN.
the old one doesn't look young enough, it kind of felt like the only thing that made the age difference obvious was the difference in height. So i made her look more like a little kid by giving her chubbier cheeks and such. Having the eyes just be glasses with pupils in them also made it difficult to get dramatic expressions out of her
But fine, if you hate it I'll just use the old, boring ones
The thing about kids is not to have chubby cheeks, it's to also have a smaller face. Their jaw/chin are usually much smaller which makes it looks like they have more round face. Before it looked like you gave an adult just chubby cheeks.

Shitty camera edition
I think it's the square, rimless glasses. Kids don't wear those types of glasses. She looks like Gepetto

Remaking drawings from my childhood is something I've been wanting to do for a long while, specially because I remember drawing all kinds of monsters when I was a kid.
The only thing I need is knowing where the hell did my parents put all of them :v:

the left one reminds me of vault boy
Actually. It's not even the type of glasses. It's the fact that they're on her nose basically. Like a grandpa.
Look at Dexter from Dexter's Lab. His glasses ARE his eyes.

That's how the old design is. I wanted to make the eyes more expressive and still keep the glasses in the new design which is why put them like that.

Whatever, I'll just use the old designs instead
Been brainstorming some animated characters of my own, actually.
Listened to a lot of psychedelic music, came up with a girl made from lava lamp goo and a trippy green skeleton.

I liked the idea of doing wavy moving hair like my last avatar had, but I wanted something that would flow more slowly. Then "good vibrations" came up in shuffle and inspiration struck :v:

haven't really done anything much with my tablet yet but I started this today
it's really sloppy at the moment so tomorrow I'll tidy it up and work into it with some brushes that aren't just default hard round ones. :v:
Perspective.
yeah the bottom half looks jarring I'll fix that. is the torso okay though?

Just a poem I wrote. As a security guard, part of my nightly patrol takes me to the roof of the building, and being efficient enough to complete the rest of the patrol quickly, I often take some time to just enjoy the scenery.
From The Rooftops
The air is sharp, the city bright;
A chill is borne on winter breeze
The heavens turn in starless night,
Whose shadows shroud the barren trees
Which far below with mankind sleep,
And restless dreams stray where they will
The waking world in silence keeps
The crawling minutes; all is still.
A weary soul bereft of rest,
With eastward gaze, awaiting dawn
I stand enthralled by webs of light
From darkened height I walk upon
But far from here my musings fly,
O’er leagues of land, through squall and storm,
To her with whom my thoughts oft lie,
Where glimmer the first rays of morn.
The pleasant ache returns again,
And for a time I wander lost
In secret hope and memory,
And dream of summer, though the frost
Lies still and heavy on the ground,
And there is much yet is to be done
For I can ill-afford to rest
Until the prize I seek is won.
The air is sharp, the city bright;
A chill is borne on winter breeze,
The heavens turn in starless night,
But this night my heart is at ease
For promises I will not break,
For future that is yet to be,
For though some time I must still wait,
She whom I seek waits still for me.

The problem with both of these, though, is that the glasses don't change shape. If you're replacing the eyes will glasses, then you're going to have to bend the lens unrealistically to achieve emotion. You're replacing the eyelids with the edges of the glasses lens.
Both of the animations you posted only move the eyebrows, and it makes the character boring and dead.
Im applying for a drug commercial, they were very especific about this part so this is my take. I need my own idea for some 1:30 extra minutes though, but i know what i will do.
the actor is my theather teacher.

to be honest is generic bullshit, but still, any thoughts?

arnold photostudy part 1, which i'm not satisfied with because i spent at least 40 minutes on the face alone. 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Lower jaw seems uneven.
The rest is good.
wow nicely observed. thanks.
