All great suggestions :v: Sadly, I took with the easy way out Pro-tip: Plan your text before you draw it out or end up with shitty kerning as shown above
Character for my next animation assignment: dialogue.
I stumbled one day across two dogs, screwing by the sea. When upon this scene there came one more, and opted to make it three. This envious cur - so cocksure, decided to claim his prize. With gender aside, he took him astride, and gave him a surprise. This once lucky stud, torn from his pride, attempts quickly to abort. But all's too late - it's futile: he's tied the knot and he's stuck in this cohort. His once wondrous claim - now pain and shame - made bitch upon the sea, that was so great where there were two before, ended when it became three.
Came up with that while watching the 2013 State of the Union - Not sure of the correlation/causation. I know you guys hate anything resembling a rhyme scheme, but that's what we've really practiced so far in my Poetry class.
Made a model butcher shop based of a local real butcher shop last week in a group of 3 :)

A little classical structure can be respected. I actually can't stand unrhymed poetry. (Let the boxes fly)

Cell, this would be the last place I would honestly expect you to show off your stuff at.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/14273442/8396301838_5edec47c43_b.jpg simplify to 3 shades they said
Here are my thoughts on the subject of water reflection, note that they could be wrong because these are only my conclusions from observations. [t]http://i.imgur.com/0KrP0Rd.jpg[/t] #1: Reflection and its object has perspective. Try to imagine at least 1-2 vanishing points. Don't just flip the images, ChestyMcGee made this mistake in the past. #2: What reflections look like when the object is really far away. Or when the water is really calm, almost like a flat surface. #3-4: My thoughts on how reflections work. Water reflections are made from waves, which the object/whatever makes. The black squares represents the images that bounce on the water from the object to your eyes. The rest of the area represents the space between the reflection images. This explains the white empty lines in #1. This also means there are many types of reflections based on the water's turbulences' strength. #1<=>#3; #2<=>#4.. #5: Water with flows. Water with flows does not work the same way as normal water. Try to follow the direction of the flow to get the reflection. (Contouring with the shores, etc.) Important note or tl,dr: When you want to draw water reflection according to #3-4, don't draw every reflective image, instead, draw the textures of the reflection. By that way, it will look natural and less forced. Sorry for the terrible English.
reflection is really simple if you think about it as it really is. draw an imaginary life from the viewpoint to the reflecting surface. bounce this life off the surface at the same angle in the other direction. This means that if you're looking straight at a surface then the difference between the line from the viewpoint and the line bounced back off are gonna be ~0 degrees different. As you become more parallel to a surface the angles grow proportionally. [editline]14th February 2013[/editline] PO is the light ray and QO is the bounced light. there is literally nothing more to it (this type of reflection is called specular reflection). this is ignoring refraction and the other types of categories that are actually reflection but we consider as different (diffuse, retroreflection) because they're unimportant to 2d art.
I wish I had a rubber putty.. A legit one. God, the last one I bought was a fake. 80 cents wasted.
creepy
Shit, it's meant ti be valentines in the butcher shop.
That's brilliant!
inspired by the book metro 2033
Instead of making a completely new post just edit the original post and replace [img] with [t].
Also, compression. The image is really blurry now.

Anyone got advice on how to paint clouds?
Clouds are usually light, mostly white, the sky should have tones. Varied by the time of the day. The tones of the sky should go gradiently lighter towards the horizon.
I guess I'll do some cloud studies later then.
Another quick watercolor. I really like this one
Personally gasmasks instantly make me think of "hurr apacalyips czombies anon lol detcahced from societty bro 4chon" but it's still incredibly well done.
