I think they look find. It adds depth into the drawing.
Two Dogs (On American Politics):
I stumbled one day across two dogs,
screwing by the sea.
When upon this scene there came one more,
and he opted to make it three.
This envious cur - so cocksure,
decided to claim his prize.
With gender aside, he took 'em astride,
and gave him a surprise.
This once lucky stud, torn from his pride,
attempts quickly to abort.
But all's too late - it's futile:
he's tied the knot - stuck in this cohort.
His once wondrous claim, now pain and shame;
made bitch upon the sea.
That which was so great where there were two before,
ended when it became three.

I gave this a slight update. I'd appreciate any criticisms on phrasing based on how it sounds when read aloud, if anyone is willing. Any suggestions, really. I submitted it and Free Syrian Civilian for judgement and possible publication in the yearly college creative works publication, The Ram's Tale.
I think someone farted
I think someone farted

This might be a bit of a sloppy example, but if you want to make the helmet look less opaque (and like somebody farted), you can darken the edges of the helmet (and where the wearer is) a bit to give the viewer the impression that the color is light reflecting off of tint rather than a painted surface. Depending on the background, you can lighten or darken the portion of the helmet that you can see straight through to give an illusion of translucence to the glass of your helmets. I primarily do this using filled polygonal lasso selections (with 50% or near 50% gray) on a new layer with the original layer above the one I am modifying set to color so I can preserve color while either adding light with a screen blend mode or darkening with multiply.

That said, I like it.

I'm really quite surprised that many people can't read it. If you just take a moment to analyze the letters you should quickly be able to make them out. More of the people that I show my work to in real life can.

I love it! It could use more rubble and destruction though, there always seems to be a pile of ceiling in the corner in fallout buildings. Beds should have no sheets, ect ect. Other than that, awesome. It would be a amazing mod.

Ian McQue inspired by any chance?

Thanks. This is the presidential suite of the lucky 38 casino which is completly clean in the game so that's why there isn't any rubble, filth or anything here.
I think that Fallout picture was trying to emulate the look of Hotline: Miami. You should check it out, if you didn't already know.
Yeah I know. I wanted to put a color in the background and add the player and his companions (boone, ed-e, raul...) into the scene like the original picture but I was more focused on the suite itself than anything else.
This was quite fun to do. I'll maybe try to do some other VG places in that style.
I obviously have no idea how scissors work

Make it faster (0.25 sec faster I would esitmate) and make the bottom handle move as well so they collide with the small bit of plastic that sticks out of the handle.
Then you have a proper scissor animation since people seldomly do everthing in their power to hold the bottom handle completely still.
Ian McQue inspired by any chance?
I was wondering if anyone would pick that up :D
Yea we're using Ian as a big reference for the general aesthetic, also mixing in a few things like the Orks from WH40k and Metal Slug.
Here's another piece of art for it:

The games gonna be a top down vehicular battle arena, and we've been working with the idea that half the vehicles are going to be made by a more techy race (kinda based a bit off the Tau) and the other half would be scrappier and more thrown together (Orks). That ship's one of the techier ones.
