I dunno it might, I'm thinking of drawing branches leading to piles of leaves in those white areas.
What do you think?
Did this for a drawthread.

Even if it does come out perfect I don't think it's worth working that way man :v:

Scans: sometimes this week
[editline]19th February 2013[/editline]
Had to add a little something because out of all my friends questioned the thing on the foreground is:
46% - Pyramid
31% - "The Structure"
20% - Quit spamming with your stupid drawings every day, fuck
3% - Is that Jesus on a cross up there?
0% - a ship

The long file is progress from the initial sideways "zing" scribble to the final picture. An Evolution of an Idea of sorts. The small one is picturing the addition of an anchor because nobody recognized the thing on the left as a ship. Sorry if I composed my post very poorly, sometimes I forget that people don't magically know what's in my head
I delete most of my art anyway,

"The best paintings are done with the most bizarre brushes, because limitation is the mother of creativity"
I felt pretty smart when i figured i wanted to use the "these brushes are made by" text brush.

I want to rate your post with the "zing" lightning icon thing. but i dunno what it is for.
When does one know their creative work deserves a thread?
When does one know their creative work deserves a thread?
When you have a lot of ongoing shit. Like you're making a big project or have a comic. The name of the thread is an ode to the past of facepunch, but I believe now it means that every one should drop their art stuff here, even when it's super good.
Does anyone have any issues where saving an image in photoshop results in an image where darks are a lot darker than intended? It's not too much of a problem if I paint something bright and vivid, but when I paint things dark, it can cause a large deterioration.
I saved the original in photoshop, which came out like this

And I managed to rectify it by upping the brightness by 150, and reducing contrast by 50, but it still does not look like the original.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
are you saving at a different bit-depth to the one you are working at?
this would only affect black and white stuff though
Ive remembered why I am primarily a digital artist. I hate waiting for paint to dry! ughhh

You might not be the best drawer but you're a damn good cupboard

They're jealous.
Could have been more detailed, but it's exactly what I would have said.
The illustration is well done, but the pose is odd and stiff.
That's a critique. Didn't mean to sound like a dick, but "Work on doing it better" is hardly informative to the artist.
