Haven't painted in ages; been focusing more on writing
This was based on a quick pencil drawing I did to get an idea of how a location in my writing would look. I'm finding it's way nice to sketch the fictional places you're writing about.

There's a lot of distance between the two. So the value brightens over distance
the atmospheric perspective doesn't shift evenly over distance though (changes per object and surface) and it's way too strong compared to actual distance

I normaly do tags and graffiti on the run. With both markers and cans. I also sometimes make stencils. i added some sparkles and shit but then i figured it looked bad, so i went to delete the layer and realized i've been working on top of the painting all along instead of a new layer.
i just lost 1 hour of progress, seriously. suck a fucking triple demon cock, wow.

Once you've done it enough times you'll remember about layers. I tend to do everything on one layer unless there's some significant doubt in my mind over how something might look and if I know that it'll be too hard to re-paint the area I'm painting over if it turns to balls; for instance, most figures I put in my work at the moment are all done on a new layer initially, quite large, then scaled down and positioned and whatnot

Given the lighting in the room, I get the impression that the only thing bright about her should be what is facing the laser. I'd have ambient cyan lighting oh the parts of her in shadow to show that incredibly bright light is indeed bouncing around the room, and not just emanating outwards.
Really, I think it might make a bigger impact to have her mostly silhouetted aside from edge lighting on the side facing the bot and the underside of her right arm.
Otherwise, I like it! It's mostly what I was imagining looking at the sketch.

Ive gotten myself into the habit of naming all my layers, makes it easier to notice and I keep on the right layer better now.

I was running a Graphire 4 for ever and it seemed to run alright! I can't see your image though so I'm not sure what you mean. Is it registering one long press as a lot of repeated taps?
