is this because I suck or should I upgrade my tablet? I have an [I]ancient[/I] Wacom Graphire tablet so while I do have the drivers more or less functional, it's really a pain. While I would be crazy glad to have an excuse for a new tablet, it could very well be lack of practice.[/QUOTE]

I don't know but I have the same problem when I am drawing with my current tablet and pressure settings etc. I use a bamboo create, mostly in Paint Tool Sai.
So if anyone has a fix I would be really happy.
It's not your tablet or you doing something wrong though.

More likely it might be a driver/software issue of some sort (when I say/hear tablet issue I think hardware). Ive had 3 tablets now, so I know it isn't something I'm doing or the program I'm using. Just since this most recent tablet and driver install. (had to re-install cause default install didn't want to work with pressure sensitivity at all)
