Could you add a link to your album of art to your profile please? I am tired of loosing it
http://imgur.com/a/DXGyR That's "Dangerous eXtreme Gear: yelling Raiden" I added it to my Steam profile links.
http://imgur.com/a/DXGyR That's "Dangerous eXtreme Gear: yelling Raiden" I added it to my Steam profile links.
I would love to see you do some digital art.
I would love to see you do some digital art.
I personally dislike digital, not saying it's bad, it's just not what I want right now. Maybe if I get a related industry job, sure I will use digital, nothing like a concept artist doing 30 concepts/day overflowing with ideas. But when I'm creating for myself I want to create a physical object, leave a mark in a material world, something I can hold in my hands and say "I made this object, this sculpture of graphite/paint on a canvas". I will do color stuff though, going to buy myself supply of everything needed to draw with oils in exactly a month (my 21st birthday)

[editline]21st February 2013[/editline]
I believe that's what printers are for
It's like creating a 3d model of a statue, printing it on a 3d printer and comparing it to sculpting. Granted, both require work and knowledge of tools (physical or software), but when you print - it's just a representation of the digital original, a copy. When you paint it yourself - it's one of a kind object that you created with your own hands. Again, no disrespect to digital painters, it's just my personal preferences.
Guys, come back
Finished. If anybody uses blogger you can follow my progress for the film at http://kieranduncan.blogspot.co.uk
God doesn't have anything to say, when that conclusive beat has left the last dying man's chest; He left us here to stay. When orphans cry out for a final say and for the pain to be taken from their breast God doesn't have anything to say. When a lover cries for another to stay, with their hardest questions unexpressed He left us here to stay. When tears fall night and day, And Life seems like nothing if not a test God doesn't have anything to say. When every next thought causes the mind to fray, And every cry is a prayer for the best He left us here to stay. When all of life is in disrepair and humanity has come to one final jest God doesn't have anything to say, he left us here to stay. _________________ For Poetry class, a Villanelle. Good work, almost indistinguishable from ref at first glance (I'd thought I opened your image again in another tab instead of the reference) Anyways, this is crazy smutty and has T-rex hands but I'm really making progress with value. Also totally messed up the stripes but still a start is a start. [t]http://puu.sh/26z8r[/t]
Someone's gonna shit on you for signing that.
On who for signing what? Edit: The speedpaint?
signing stuff is all good I keep my signatures small and transparent so they're not obvious but some people take a stance of perceived arrogance when it comes to heavily visible sigs
Honestly his is pretty subtle and doesn't take much away from it, I didn't notice until he said something so I started searching the page for signatures.

style study/test thingy wip
I have a feeling that I am going to love that style.

That sky bg is very half-assed [editline]23rd February 2013[/editline] Also the structure has poor line weight (uniform) and so is completely flat Then there's no hard outlines anywhere else so the transition is pretty jarring
I think putting some heavier lines on the ground crater/cracks would benefit it, and have them taper out. The tower looks very cool and graphic, the ground doesn't really match it. I like it. I also think that MakoSkyDub was pretty harsh and non-constructive.

the thick black outline messes it all up
