Thats where i got the idea. It means peace.
It's more probably intended to mean 'Victory' in Japanese art, though.

Micro drawing of the Sydney city skyline measures about 7.5cm long and 2.5cms tall, sorry about the picture quality, the values are a lot better in real life. I want to do more of these because I find them really interesting and fun to do, what do people think?

It's great! If I could do that I'd be inclined to leave miniatures on tips and everywhere else.
I'd say you should definitely keep it up, because you've got a knack for it.
oh you lovely motherfucker
good job! presentation was excellent. only things i noticed were that in some spots the animation was kinda wonky, and the audio wasn't in sync a couple times, too.
great work nonetheless! :D
Thanks a lot! I agree entirely on the animation. Sadly deadlines are deadlines, 3 of us made the entire thing form script to screen in 18 months which was pretty good going... but it meant we couldn't spend as much time as we wanted on the animation. Plus none of us were particularly strong animators.
You're the first to comment on the sound being out of sync though, are you positive it wasn't a lag on your end?

Thanks very much, but, "miniatures on tips" what do you mean? :)
Also, I think ill do my next one in colour.

As in, I'd want to carry blank business cards so I could draw while waiting in restaurants or anywhere, and leave behind art for them to remember a random stranger by. When I said 'on tips' I meant 'With the amount of money one sometimes leaves after a satisfying meal at a restaurant'.

I sometimes wish I were a famous artist so I could do things like that and it would be worth something )if they figured it out :v:) but then I would probably have to die and come back as a ghost for it to be worth money eh?

This example is my favorite of such a thing - http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/19/magazine/19food-t.html?_r=0
So I took a bunch of screencaps in Google streetview and put them in a timeline with some frame blending.

I thought it was kinda neat but not really thread worthy.

Shit. The related videos are now telling me that I was certainly not the first person to think of this.

Didn't get the joke, panels' frames are sloppy.

Decrease the spacing of your strokes.
The proportion around the mouth is severely fucked.
Thumb. It looks fine when zoomed out.

I'm starting a western game in unity, this is good inspiration.

Not sure if this is a joke or not but keep at it man. It's certainly ...it's certainly a thing. Keep in mind with newer versions of photoshop you can press R to use the rotate tool- click and drag to rotate canvas non-destructively to get much straighter lines at normally uncomfortable angles, and then rotate back when necessary.

where's the punchline

Would be much funnier with the end dialog going like:
[sp]"I got all 151 pokemon and became the ultimate pokemon master"
"Aren't there 649 pokemon now?"
"Shit"[/sp]

The gothic caligraphy was so much fun writing, though it does look a bit sloppy.
I love gothic caligraphy. And once you get the hang of it, it's really easy.

I love these colors. I added this to my inspiration folder.

its not that hard is it? Its just a slanted "brush" and you just write with it

Thanks, I've been trying to figure that shit out for a while now.

Overlapping thing. . . transparency? Alright, I'll give it a shot on my next work. It'd probably help to add some more mid-tones as well, kill some of that contrast.
