People are trying way hard to troll, this won't go anywhere.
This is gonna be fucking great. :v:
that's a much better idea, probably gonna work a lot better than the campaign

why are they trying halo to begin with? it's obviously not appropriate for this. why not try something more suitable like doom or wolfenstein. then again, the whole "twitch plays" thing is pretty stupid anyway so there's that.
1v1 twitch plays halo multiplayer
1v1 twitch plays halo multiplayer
oh god, 2 twitch streams vs each other.
NVM someone else is doing it.
Imagine how good this would've been with the short delay twitch had back in the day
In my opinion, the only games that are really suitable for Twitch Plays are 2D RPG games, like Twitch Plays Pokemon. When you have to move around in 3D space it will be nearly impossible to beat the game.
It's possible. It's just hindered by trolls trying to ruin the fun for everyone aka:
"DOWN
DOWN
DOWN
DOWN
DOWN
GRENADE LELEL"
ya he just blew himself up

That's part of the fun, that's to be expected.
That's what makes "twitch plays" something special. The overwhelming chance of fucking up constantly.
Because of that, it'll be a major achievement when anything does go right.
[editline]28th February 2015[/editline]
People who complain about it taking 50 hours to get there really are complaining over absolutely nothing.
If they want it to go so damn quick, they should just play it themselves.
You can start complaining when it's been a month.
[editline]28th February 2015[/editline]
IMO, the host should take no action at all to improve on the speed of the run.
Just let it do its thing no matter how much time it takes. Anything else is frankly unimpressive.

If you find something like this fun and special then you have some serious issues. And this is coming from someone who plays Wurm Online.
Besides, from the looks of how this works, it's literally impossible to get trough that gap in one of the tunnels with the warthog.

How about we let people find fun in their own ways instead of assuming they have serious issues because they don't share the same ideals as us
HAHAHA it froze

I don't find it fun to watch, but it's interesting to read about as sort of a social experiment.
It's just that doing things like letting only a few people control it or taking over manually or the democracy shit the Pokemon thing had makes the entire experiment impure.
[editline]1st March 2015[/editline]
it seems like everyone who takes part are extremely impatient
So did they restart the game? Since I remember them being at the bridge level with the warthog but if I am correct, the level they are on now is before that.
They're on the same level, it's the second and called Halo.
They restarted the level...
Warning: I've detected multiple Covenant dropships on approach. I recommend moving into those hills. If we're lucky, the Covenant will believe everyone aboard this lifeboat died in the crash.
Alert: Covenant dropship inbound! They must be looking for survivors. I recommend immediate evasion.

Maybe the admin should just implement a democracy mode like twitch plays Pokemon, a lot of people got butthurt over that though.
But if watching people blow them selves up for half a year and constantly falling off a bridge is any fun then by all means keep it the same.
democracy wouldn't work, because in the 20 seconds it takes to vote chief would be pumped full of needles, plasma bolts, and mortar rounds
I was thinking, it'd be way more fun to have like, 6 streams running at one, playing mutliplayer Halo, 3v3.
democracy wouldn't work, because in the 20 seconds it takes to vote chief would be pumped full of needles, plasma bolts, and mortar rounds
just use the most commonly used order within a 1 second period
Once again, a few ruin the fun of the many.
Goddamn they're still on that second level. The only FPS I could see this possibly working with would be Doom.
Twitch Plays wouldn't work with a FPS in general.
I'd like to see Twitch Plays Paper Mario or something-- that would actually work out well for them.
twitch plays gone home
I love how mods sometimes come in and start spamming commands.
That just ruins the whole point of a "twitch plays".
This is just a ridiculous idea in general. It'll never go anywhere playing how the Pokemon thing did.
they'll never get over the bridge
[editline]1st March 2015[/editline]
even when it went sub only mode for a minute the guy controlling it couldn't even do it
