With a flatbed, along with a winch. Yes. It weighed less than a car.
Then go down the nearest freeway/highway. It could have blown off the back and they didn't notice!
At first I thought you meant the cast of jackass stole it. I was disappointed.
Well think about it. Only someone you have spoken to recently knows you are getting a new shed, so its likely to be them. Perhaps the manufacturer accidentally gave you a super top secret levitating shed and wanted it back?
Something similar happened to my neighbor... someone "stole" his pool. I arrived home from school one day to see two police cruisers in front of my neighbors house, and my neighbor was talking to the cops. I was considering asking them what's going on, but when I walked to the end of my driveway it was obvious: his fucking above-ground pool was gone. Someone had drained it of water, taken down the pieces of it, and drove off. At first everyone thought his ex-wife had did it, since he had just gone through a divorce. The next day, however, we found out what had happened: someone had sold their pool on Craigslist and gave the guy the address of a house on a nearby street. The guy mistook my street for that street and thought he had taken the pool he paid for.
Then go down the nearest freeway/highway. It could have blown off the back and they didn't notice!
I doubt it. The company who makes them is based about 200 miles away from us, and this guy probably didn't drive that far to steal a shed.
-snip double post-
We did. They said they doubt they'll find it though.
*Officer pulls the theives over* "Problem officer?" "The shed on your flatbed sir, is it yours? "Why yes, why do you ask?" "Oh we've had a report of someone's shed being robbed" "Oh how tragic, they must have a real chip on their shoulder now"
Last winter someone stole my dad's trailer. Funny thing is, there was snow on the ground but it didn't snow that night and there were no tracks, except the part that was under the trailer. They must stolen it with a helicopter or something, I swear.

I live on about an acre of land, with no trees to obscure anything.
How the fuck do you steal a shed?
How the fuck do you steal a shed?
I said this already. With a flatbed and a winch.
How the fuck do you shed a steal?
How the fuck do you shed a steal?
with a flatwinch and a bed
If they had a trailer and managed to steal it. It must have been a planned job. Someone was watching you over the last couple of weekends to see any cut backs in the building of it (EG: Not bolting it down). Then assembled a team of at least three to assemble the lift and steady it up onto a trailer. Then the getaway driver with the thieves sitting on the back to keep it steady managed to drive off silently. It was the ultimate job. The only problem is...Why the fuck would you bother?
with a flatwinch and a bed
Congratulations, you have won.
It probably just ran away. Sheds do that sometimes.
You tried too hard...
What I don't understand about this is why it took 5 people two full weekends to dig an 10 x 18 hole that's probably not more then a foot deep, if that. That's like, 2-3 days worth of work for one person.
Maybe you should have attached it to the foundation. I bet one of the workers had something to do with it, who else would know it's just sitting there with nothing securing it?

Second, something else was there: the old shed. We had to take that down too. That wood you see bordering the stones was part of the old shed. Third, we had to lay that wood down, and my dad is extremely anal about measurements and the like, so it had to be PERFECT before we finished. Fourth, we had to apply a waterproofed layer beneath the stones, so water wouldn't seep up and cause mold anyway. I was actually at one of their houses yesterday.
I shed a tear when I read this
I shed a tear when I read this
Be careful no one steals it.
I shed a tear when I read this
Hey can I have one, I need someplace to put my tools in.
Waiting for a parody thread.
Waiting for a parody thread.
Some jackass stole my garage?
Attach it to the floor?
You wouldn't steal a handbag... You wouldn't steal a car... You wouldn't steal a shed...
Apparently, you would. :v:
If someone took all that effort to take my shed.. Hell, they can have it!
I'm not letting no one take my damn shed. I'd hunt em down and steal their flat bed truck, or their house. They can keep the shed. I want payment. [editline]29th October 2010[/editline]
Some jackass stole my garage?
Wrong. I stole some guys shed.
People steal some stupid shit, you'd be surprised.
See?
