Oh shit oh shit where will i get my mislabeled music files now
"Have you heard Billie Holidays new song "Pokerface" ? "
I stopped using Limewire a while ago, didn't even know it shutdown until this thread. It sucked, I know I got like a million viruses from that before, I didn't care, I wanted to listen to "All the small things" more than I cared about my computer.
People who illegally download music are bad people anyways, the industry is really trying hard to make their music more enjoyable, that's why they invented autotune afterall (so the singers are even better) also their creativity should be rewarded
Watch the flood of terrified teenagers appear as their favourite sites no longer works before they claim that it wasn't illegal because they paid for LimeWire.

Atleast I still got FrostWire!
Funny, a year or two ago I found out my brother actually paid monthly for "Limewire Gold"... He thought it made it legal to download anything.. movies.. games.. music... He's an ATF officer *facepalm* Though I believe he canceled the subscription after his Paul Blart's Mall Cop download ended up revealing itself as "Hot Ebony Creamed Pussy Four Way Fuck Fest" Seriously though, it's about damn time
My sister is gonna be soooo piiiiissed [editline]27th October 2010[/editline] Wait, why is that bad?
I stopped using Limewire like three years ago.
And all of the worlds teenage girls just died a bit inside.
Tell them to get uTorrent. And don't tell them there are no Justin Bieber torrents on there. I want to see them search frantically for it.
And all of the worlds teenage girls just died a bit inside.
And my dad too. :frown:
My answer to this: [img_thumb]http://www.gameproducer.net/images/piracyisnottheft.jpg[/img_thumb]
That just means piracy is fraud, as you're fraudulently obtaining a copy of a game / application without paying for it. Doesn't matter what it is, it's still illegal.

Oh no! Now where will people get arrested for falsely downloading child pornography?!
FINALLY. Now I can stop fixing my family member's computers because they used it.
I still like how we all hailed Limewire as the greatest thing since sliced bread but the moment it goes down we all have something to say about it. Great, now where do I download my audio enhancement packages for my linux distros?
LimeWire wouldn't even connect to the server last time I tried using it, which was like 3 years ago.
Why the clocks? The news article is dated just today... :raise: Oh that's right, this is FACEPUNCH. Not some respectable forum. How silly of me.
:goonsay: Its in the "in the news". Learn to lurk.
My answer to this: [img_thumb]http://www.gameproducer.net/images/piracyisnottheft.jpg[/img_thumb]
You're still breaking copyright laws.
