+'s about CD's
It looks sweet having a stack of them in your room.
Quality is better
You get those books
Id the CD is like a year old, they are usually cheaper than if you would buy it digital
Sometimes there's also DVD's with them (H.A.A.R.P. etc.) which you wouldn't get if you bought it digital
Sometimes there's also just some random bonus thing on it, they call it an "Enhanced CD"...
- They take up some space
+'s about buying digital
If you're lazy you're some clicks away
You can choose if you just want one song if you dislike the rest
- All that's good about CD's
My opinion
The only bad things about Digital, in my opinion, are the kind of DRMs/tracking stuff and you don't get the case with the physical art.
Not many places have drm anymore
Not many places have drm anymore
Exactly. Though iTunes still has tracking or something.
no it doesn't
no it doesn't
Well, that's good to hear.
I miss the "thanks" rating.
It can still, actually, be cheaper to buy the cd as opposed to the low quality files from amazon
i have alot of cd's. I don't know where alot of them came from though
I have a bookshelf thats halfway filled up with CD's from 70's rock to modern day rock/metal. Most of it was given to me by my parents, but I have all of it copied onto Itunes.
What the hell is a CD?

Also I discovered these series of books called 33 1/3. They're pretty cool and each one focuses on a different record. I got Low by David Bowie, Endtroducing by DJ Shadow, and Doolittle by Pixies. The endtroducing one is pretty much a long interview and I learned a lot about the man himself. Pretty cool series of books.

That's not really a CD then, now is it?
I just got three new CDs.
Paul Baribeau - Grand Ledge
Spoonboy - I love you, this is a robbery
Soophie Nun Squad - The Devil, The Metal, The Big Booty Beats
The SNS one was free.
If they produced cds in LP sleeves (they probably do, but it's not easily obtainable), I would be more inclined to buy them.

Deadmau5 did this once.
Also I love buying CD's from Travis Dickerson Music (Buckethead, etc...)

They're pretty cool guys.
Last CD I bought was Dark Clouds and Silver Linings by Dream Theater. Still haven't listened to it all the way.
I think that I've downloaded only a couple songs at all.
My friend bought me "Cavalcade of Glee and Dadaist Happy Hardcore Pom Poms" for my birthday today. n.n
