VR didn't have my interest at all but the wild shit in this video is seriously making me consider making models for it at some point or converting some of my existing GoldSrc&Source content. The amount of fun everyone is having is great to see. For example this one I made for Sven Co-Op which I see used a lot now on sven servers:

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if someone already ported my old MtDew&Doritos models already (plz link me video if spotted). That was converted to gmod almost immediately and became like a staple in cool Gmod&SFM content.

There are worlds with "avatar pedestals" which you can change into if you go to the pedestal and click. Some are easy to find, like Al's Avatar Corridors, and others need an adventure to gain access to, maybe even puzzle solving etc. Though if you change away from such a pedestal avatar, you'll have to find it again to change back (it's not like your own personal avatars that you have in your own menu).

VRchat has had an explosive rise in players ever since these videos started coming out from so many youtubers, big and small. Just in September it had an average of 100 users at peak times, but now it's reaching 1500 users and they've had server issues in the past few days because of the unexpected rush.

A day later the peak has reached 2300 users from 1500.
Man, VR Chat seems so dope, but I just cant bring myself to actually play it. Not only do I worry about hitting things in my play space, but I'd want my own private avatar that no one else has, but I'm not at all knowledgeable about models/modelling/ripping so I would have to find a way to find something that was my own :v:
