I love all of them, but the darker the story becomes the better the books and movies are.

:siren: Warning major spoilers :siren:
[sp] Basically the wand moves loyalty when the previous owner is defeated (it doesn't matter if the previous owner is using the elder wand or any other wand).
So what happened was.
- Grindewald had the wand, Dumbledore defeats him in a duel.
- On the roof of the castle in book six, when Snape kills Dumbledore, Dumbledore is disarmed (defeated) by Malfoy.
- In book seven when the trio is captured in the Malfoy-manor, Harry disarms Malfoy so he is technically the owner of the elder wand, even though he doesn't actually have it.
Voldemort on the other hand has interpreted defeating as "killing", thus he thinks Dumbledore is the owner until he's killed by Snape, at which point Snape becomes the owner. This is why Voldemort kills Snape, but at this point the wand's loyalty is already Harry's.[/sp]
I just can't remember, wich one was the best. They were all pretty good.
I got the third one first, and didn't really enjoy it because I didn't have a clue what the fuck was going on.
I was in primary school, and everyone was reading it, but back then I thought, "if everyone's reading it, it must be shit." Because that was the arrogant sort of fucktard I was back then. When I got the first, I thought it was awesome :v:
My favourite one's probably the Goblet of Fire, the bits with the Triwizard Tournament kicked ass.
I play Philosophers Stone all the time on my PC, always reminds me of my childhood.
I liked the first, you learnt alot from the world of wizardy.
Unlike the rest which are all story line driven.

Also can't wait for part 2, I've read the books but I just love Emma Watson.
I've read the additional books written by her as well. I hope she writes A History of Magic and Hogwarts: A History.
I still have my old PS1 game "Harry Potter and the philosphers wand, I think I will go play it on my PS3 now!"
I love all of them, they're great. I voted for Goblet of fire.
I'm kind of sad the series has finished, nothing beats reading the books for the first time round.
I stopped reading halfway through the Half-Blood prince a long time ago since I began to found it relatively boring. I've lost all interest in Harry Potter since then sadly. My relative is a fanatic for the movies though.
I read through the 4th book when I was around 10, and from what I remember I think it was the best one out of the lot.
I think i looked at the thickness of the goblet of fire, struggled through half of it and went "fuck this" and that was the end of it. But I still somehow feel like I should read all of them.
Did anyone else get to the release of a new Harry Potter book, and then people would message you on MSN and tell you at school where they were up to every day?
Prisoner of Azkaban will forever be my favourite Harry Potter book and movie :3: It was when, in my opinion, the series began to take a slightly darker turn; and I loved Sirius and Lupin.
I liked the Prisoner of Askaban more than the others because it was the only that didn't have Voldemort as the antagonist.
Did I post this in the right section?
I read the first book and it wasn't my bag.
I saw the films and enjoyed them though.
Holy shit 7 books to kill 1 fucking guy.
I remember this little quidach book or however you spell the broom sport they do.
Apparently the brooms have invisible cushions on them.

He is one Tough
Mother Fucker
[sp]Split his soul into 7 piece's[/sp]
I almost died of the shock of the notion of Facepunch being aware of the books! HOLY SHIT! THIS IS BIG!
Voted six for the teeny lovey-dovey subplots. It's as close you can get to the erotica books that is twilight without going there. Not to mention the priceless humour, lore and all the other cool stuff associated with HP.
Well i should come clean
I didn't read the book's
I LISTEN'D TO THEM
Holy shit 7 books to kill 1 fucking guy.
Don't forget that the "kill da mo-fo" plot wasn't untill 5-7. So 4 books to learn the lore and ressurect the devil and another 3 to lose everyone you love and kill the dickhead.
The Merge! The Merge! The- NOOOO!
I love all of them, they're great. I voted for Goblet of fire.

I feel sorta annoyed that it just stoped
It sorta just ended
I remember when I first started reading the books (A couple of years ago). I thought "wow dis is gona be well gay!!!" And then I read all the books.
I have also seen the first three films, but have no desire to see the others.
my favorite part about these books is that they made this "world" you could really get into
admit it, you wanted your ass sent to hogwarts

Yes, though I never actually thought "what if Hogwarts actually existed?" which I've learnt alot of kids apparently did/do. Also, I was probably the only one who read the books when I was little so I had no one to share and discuss my interest with, not that I have a problem with it :v:

I have really fond memories of the Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban for the gamecube/ps2. They did have terrible voice acting, though.
Harry Potter was, and still is, my childhood. I can't begin to describe how much I love this series.
