Because a child or baby can have a bright future, but looses it before it even gets the chance to try. [editline]30th March 2011[/editline] And are you really comparing an animals death to a humans death?
It is more sad because they do not have natural ability to defend themselves yet.
My family has always gotten rescue dogs. They have so much love to give.
Fucking amish people.
I bought my dog from a safe and trusted breeder. Pet stores are assholes to dogs.
I have two cats from litters that family friends gave us, and a third we got right off the street outside our house.
My first dog who passed in 2009 was a scotch collie and we got her from a pet shop. Our next dog we got is a terrier poodle cross and we got her from a pound. She was really skinny and looked so scared. It was a good thing we got her. We also had an airdale who died last year (we only had him for 2 years) and we got him from a group who takes care after airdales. Now we have 2 more airdales (both 3) from the same group as they needed a home.
We have two dogs, both resqued. One came from Romania where dogs are treated like shit. They flew the dog in to our country and we adopted it. The second dog we got from a similar country but I forgot which one. It was a week old when friends of ours who went on holiday there found a bag with two puppies. They couldn't pay for them as they were students but took them anyway. They couldn't save one but the other was brought to us. The mother was already dead so they didn't recieve any mothermilk. We had to hand-feed her with puppymilk and now she lives a happy life with us :) I may post pictures later
Thank god there are no kill shelters in my country (afaik) but anyway i'd still want to give every dog in this world a good life
Surely it's a good thing to rescue those pets from poor conditions?
Love? how do you love an animal?
When you stop wearing carpet suits and banging your dog, then we can start talking.
