I want to get a "Higher End" Kershaw. As in American made and above 50 dollars as well. I was looking at the Piston and the S30V Blur, but like, conveniently, I want to upgrade my computer so I can run Arma 3. So yeah, gotta divert funds for a new motherboard and CPU. Looking at the Cryo again because of that. Cryo seems to be the best under 40 dollar and Chinese made folder.
Cosider getting a RAM. You can find them for about $60.
I have a gerber knife that I carry with me at all times, useful for opening packages and such, and self defense. Some of the more fancy knives in here are just collector's items. [editline]11th March 2013[/editline] Also have a leatherman multitool, useful and hella sharp but its sometimes a pain to get the specific tool you want on a timely basis.
Is it an older Gerber, or one of the new, shitty ones?

bottom knife is a SOG seal pup thats been beat to shit (there was a half moon taken outta the tip thanks to a log with a nail in it hence why it's been reprofiled) but keeps on kicking middle is a late 60's case #223 top left is a kershaw brawler which used to be my EDC til i bought the top right knife which is a kershaw cryo damn good little knife but will probably get rotated out when my DPX HEST/F gets here
If you own one or more actual combat knife (thats not your war memory or some shit) you are most likely either an assasin or a nerd.
If you own one or more actual combat knife (thats not your war memory or some shit) you are most likely either an assasin or a nerd.
How about a guy who just really likes knives and doesn't care to be an assassin.

-snipe, found out-
I just got threatened with "I will cut you" yesterday :v I'm like hahah, you and an x-acto knife? How good is an xacto knife for cutting people?
I just got threatened with "I will cut you" yesterday :v I'm like hahah, you and an x-acto knife? How good is an xacto knife for cutting people?
For cutting people? Very good. For harming people? Bad.
http://www.gerbergear.com/Essentials/Knives/AR-3.00_45864 I love mine. It's a different color though. [editline]19th March 2013[/editline] And has the old logo
This is mine, sorry about the blurry picture... [editline]9th March 2013[/editline] Not really a knife but not a problem to post here right?
I've got the same bayonet, frog and sheath included. Nice piece.
If you own one or more actual combat knife (thats not your war memory or some shit) you are most likely either an assasin or a nerd.
Not really. And depends on the knife. A lot of people, myself included, use combat utility knives that the military also uses, mainly because of their durability and proven use in the field. If you're talking about like, a stiletto stabby knife, then yeah.
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f3/Model1917_knuckle_duster.jpg[/t] WWI Trench knives look so brutal.
I've got an AK bayonet. A guy I know brought it back from Iraq [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/20130323_234704.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/20130323_234555.jpg[/thumb]
Surprised there's not more Butterfly knives in here.
Surprised there's not more Butterfly knives in here.
They are illegal in almost every state that and they are a pointless knife to have.
They are easy to carry, and they are fun to practice 'tricks with'. Whilst I agree that there are better alternatives for survival knives, they can still come incredibly sharp. I buy them in a Chinatown near me. [editline]27th March 2013[/editline] I buy them in Chinatown in London.
Almost all knives can become "incredibly sharp". It's the quality of the steel that defines how long they will stay sharp.
They are also very loose and wobble a LOT. Not something I wan't to use everyday and possibly trust my life with.
I wanted one of those German Paratrooper gravity knives since they're awesome as shit, but reevaluated my decision upon hearing that they were as blunt as wood. Anyone know anything about that?
So the Cryo I had had a rusty looking spring, but I didn't think much of it. THREE DAYS LATER IT JUST STOPS OPENING THEN THE LOCK DOESNT WORK. Amazon has a good return policy, so I'm kind of happy.

This thread dead already?
Are we out of knives?
Are we out of knives?
Yes, we ran out.
just wondering, do you guys just collect the knifes or do they actually serve you a purpose?
just wondering, do you guys just collect the knifes or do they actually serve you a purpose?
For the most part my knifes are purposeful but I do want to collect some of them.
just wondering, do you guys just collect the knifes or do they actually serve you a purpose?
the purpose my knife collection serves is that it makes my dick hard when i look at them
just wondering, do you guys just collect the knifes or do they actually serve you a purpose?
I've only really got my kukri (complete with karda and chakmak), rather than a collection but I bought it because I've always loved the design of kukris, they are incredibly practical, and look great too. It serves much the same purpose as my Lion King music globe, pictures and stuff - adds character to my room, rather than having an empty topped chest-of-drawers. It's currently dull, and I have no intention of sharpening it, but it is possible to sharpen it, and it would be a very useful tool if I wanted. Not to mention I got it for a great price, and it smells nice. (we all love that leather smell, don't we?) [t]http://i.imgur.com/tQCKXIj.jpg[/t] I can't take pictures for shit...
