I hate all the youtube comments
I hate skaters, they're assholes and they ruin other peoples shit. Then when you call them out on it or approach them they record everything put it on youtube and/or try to press charges against everyone involved because they're gigantic pussies.
Yes because cops side with skaters all the time.
That's quite the generalization. I know plenty of skateboarders who aren't ultra cunts, and who respect requests to leave; My brother is one of them.

Just finished the video. The skater has all the status here.
Some of the stuff the guy said was hilarious, he sounds like he was drunk.
"How old are you?"
"Twenty"
"Yeah well you fucking act like an IDIOT man"
"Alright"
It's not just about the bush costing money. It's about being extremely disrespectful. And it sounds like it've happened many times before.
I disagree, in that, that particular skater was fairly respectful toward the guy. He offered to pay for any damages, said he always put the bush back in its place. He even stayed around with the guy, when there was nothing legally binding him to the location. The guy was far more disrespectful, making stupid comments and just generally acting like an asshole to the kid, who obviously had no intention of destroying property, and then proceeds to just wave his cock around for a good 5 minutes; "I AM SO HAPPY, THIS IS MY DAY, I'VE CAUGHT YOU" and "I RUN REAL FUCKING FAST HURRDURR". Not to mention the guy was extremely immature about the whole situation, yelling and making a scene, blocking the kid from moving, getting in his face and proceeding to yell, and interrupting the kid every time he tries to say something, rather than calmly explaining to the kid his concern and saying he will call the police if it continues, and possibly coming to an agreement. I know he may assume that because the kid is a skateboarder that he is probably unreasonable, but that doesn't mean he couldn't have at least TRIED to act like an adult instead of engaging "tantrum" mode. He even shoved or tried to grab the kid as well at 0:16. Don't pull the "IT'S DISRESPECTFUL" card when it's apparent you don't deserve respect you gigantic man-child. I have to give the guy an A+ on acting his age. Fucks sake, the kid was a hundred times more mature than him.
EVEN FUNNIER is that because of the irresponsible and childish way the man acted, any chance of getting a reprimand is gone. If he files a suit (for vandalism or destruction of property, I assume), tough shit, the kid can counter-sue on assault charges AND has video proof of what happened. A jury will immediately side with the kid based on the video alone, I'd bet, thanks to the non-threatening and calm way the kid dealt with the situation.
Skateboarders are a case of "the bad overshadow the good", where the majority of them are just teenagers who have a hobby, but you only ever notice the assholes of the grouping.

[editline]26th November 2010[/editline]
nothing even happened to the bush it was still standing
I think they removed the bush entirely. You can see it resting against the wall near the bottom right.
I'm perfectly calm.
Obviously not calm enough to avoid throwing insults at people.

Well put.
Sorry, if it wasn't my fault for the bush and that guy got in my face like that I would have walked the fuck away I don't give two shits.
Obviously not calm enough to avoid throwing insults at people.
Uhh, what? he didn't insult anyone in that little rant there. Other than the overreaction of the man in the video, of course.
Obviously not calm enough to avoid throwing insults at people.
I didn't insult anyone except for the man in the video.

Wait, fuck, I'm tired. I misread that. Disregard this and the earlier post.

Oh, I apologize, that was directed at the man in the video, not you.
Wow you guys are quick to judge, not all skaters are dicks.
It's mostly a bandwagon effect, people are scared to disagree and say their own opinion because others will start to whine, flame each other.
Actually I think the store owner is the dick here.
The skater never tried to run away and the owner is being a dick from the very start to the very end.
Not only is he taking this entire opportunity to wave his dick around and call him a 'fucking asshole' repeatedly, but he's blowing the entire situation out of hand. Even if it is his property, the skater, who despite being yelled at and insulted constantly through this situation, offered to pay for the damaged property himself. If he wants to bring the cops into this, they can see the video of how the guy overreacted and basically assaulted him at times (0:16), which was a poor decision on his part. Not to mention how he acted like a complete hypocrite in telling the skater to grow up, seeing as he was basically throwing a temper tantrum over an inanimate piece of scenery. Just terrible.
Jesus Christ, it's just a bush.
I wonder what happens when this guy doesn't get his laundry done on time.
I'm just talking about skaters in general. I had to watch this video with a really low volume, so I didn't quite make out what they said.
You seem ignorant and stereotypical. Please leave.
They're both in the wrong, but the store owner is in a worse position since he assaulted the skater.
on a funny note, all i could think of in the beginning of the video was "just let me see the great deku tree!"
on a funny note, all i could think of in the beginning of the video was "just let me see the great deku tree!"
the slow motion was not needed at all
I'm like...I feel sorry for the store guy, but he overreacted and wanted nothing but to fuck over the skater.
I don't know, the skater seemed like a pretty decent person...
