I'd gather as much food and guns I can, get on my bike and ride off into the forests neighboring my town. If my family is smart, they will travel with. (Probably just my siblings since my parents are growing old and won't be able to travel well. But that makes four of us) I have a shotgun, .45 handgun and a .22 carbine, I could carry the ammo in a bag tied to the handlebars and carry the guns on my person. I'm not a good marksman, but forests are pretty close quarters, so the shotgun will see good use. I have a hatchet for a last resort weapon and to chop firewood. From there, I escape to another town and start anew. I'll take on a new name and grow a mustache.
Since your plan involves looting, it's doomed to fail. Other people will want to loot that place as well, some with guns. You'll be killed before you make it to the doors.

Lot's of lakes and rivers in every possible direction here near Stockholm (closest lake with parked small boats is a bit less than 2 kilometres from my house, and it's connected by rivers to other lakes and to the sea, plus there are a lot of houses and grocery stores near the rivers, you'd be able to jump onto land and be back with the stuff in 120 seconds), and the water is pretty deep (cruise ships use this river to get to the sea, so yeah pretty deep). Also there are a shitload of boats parked all over these rivers and lakes, so refuelling shouldn't be too risky.
So I'd try to gather food and fuel, then follow the coast to Denmark, or try to get on one of those cruise ships (if the outbreak is very recent, otherwise I'd keep away from them since an infected could be onboard). Alternatively if I somehow managed to get a large boat going (hard, but possible with some help, and there are all types of boats around here) I'd try to get to Finland or some Baltic country (heck even to Britain or France, but that may be a bit too far considering that I'd need lots of fuel).
Lock myself in a Costco or Sams Club so I have unlimited food and the pharmacy has drugs.
You pretty much camp about 20 feet off the ground to get food, and sleep wayy up higher so there's no chance a zombie could get up there (zombies can't climb).
Off shore oil rigs or islands that are only accessible by water craft or aircraft are also options.
For the oil rigs, it's important that you maintain everything because the salt corrodes everything, and is not necessarily best for your lungs either.

Well you cant really "Prepare" for a zombie outbreak because you dont know when it will happen!

Well I have 2 large disaster field aid kits.
Equiptment: Sks, C9 handgun, 995 carbine, Nagant rifle, Plenty of melee weapons in the workshop, Plenty of wood to board up house in the shop.
Vehicles: Sports Trac, and Amigo (suv)
Locations: Plenty of fallout shelters in my town that we could get to in less than 5 min.

Arm the others around me, Teach them how to use the firearm, Teach them basic first aid, Work on water purification, Find a source of food, a source of fire as well.
This is all hypothetical and I know zombies more than likely do not and will not exist.
A "zombie" virus is possible, it wouldn't make you dead/alive it could just cause the host to have extreme agression causing them to attack anyone they see, and since humans have a natural biting instinct they virus could transfer like that. But these zombies would attack each other too.

Yeah the only viable virus that I see this evolving from is Rabies.
Would pretty much barricade my home and lock the doors, hoping no one gets in. Though I would need another person to stay awake the night while the other one is sleeping, to guard.

I would get a dog and a sweet gun. Then i would go to my buddys house and take his samerai sword cause he would prolly be dead. Then in the case where i knew i was going to starve to death i would dress up like Link and go out in style slaying as many of the bastards as i could. FYI going out in style does not mean blindly swinging and running into a group of 50+ zombies. That just doesn't make sense.

I would hope that my family or a large group of friends are alive and able to flee somewhere together. I'd be useless on my own since the deadliest weapon I have ever held is a butter knife.
If I was to survive the other members of my group then I'm on the outskirts of my town, very near the countryside so I would head there and hope I found people I could spend the rest of my days with.
I'm a coward, so suicide wouldn't be an option.
Isn't this simple: Loot food & drinks from supermarket, return home, get kitchen knife, lock doors, DONE. Then wait for the army to sort it out. Seriously, humans aren't strong enough to rip open locked doors. The army would just shoot the shit out of them.

Personally i would get to a very high building with a 408. cal sniper a 9mm pistol , knife ,Tons of canned food and beef jerky (but the building has to be by a groccery store) , a car , night vision and a tread mobile serusly i would being a treadmobile and some wieght lifting tools just to work out and some tactical gear and basicly just sit there as soon as the store runs out of food ill head to the next town to find more food and supplies.
Go to my local shop, drag all the stock upstairs, destroy the stairs, then wait it out. I'd probably just bar the door in a really complicated manner, and spend my time completely wasted.
Or if things are looking really bad and it's certain I'm gonna die anyway, I'd again just get wasted and just see what happens. At least I won't really feel pain that way.
