Coop Forum Östersund, a big shop with food for years. The delicous food that doesn't last so long goes first and the canned food that lasts about 10 years goes last.

A VW Passat and a Volvo S40.
- Ensuring the safety of you and others around you.

Killing all animals, if they would happen to become zombies we would be fucked.

Barricading the Doors, the doors are not so big.

Adding some matresses to the doors so that the few zombies that will come out there can't hear us.

Might not way to rely on that. Gas stations will probably either be filled with zombies because tons of people were trying to get gas to escape the city, or there will be none, because people would have already gotten it all.

Bicycle or horse.

Go supermarket, canned/non-perishable foods.
Go Music/game store and gather a fuck load of games and music and a new computer.(gota have something to do while its going on)
Go hardware store and get wood, metal and nails+screws.
Go home, set up, barricade house, Lose track of time and date.

Just out of curiosity, do you mean you think they'd off themselves, or just leave the apparent safety and comfort behind and try to make it on their own before succumbing to infection? Kudos to you that you live near people you feel you can trust that much, though. I barely even know my neighbors.

Maybe get a friend or two (definitely my girlfriend. I don't want to get stuck out there with nothing but my hand and a couple of dudes) and leave the city as fast as possible and try and live out in the country away from civilization for a while.
