I'm reading The Hobbit for the first time in like 9 years. I remember nothing about it, this is a lot of fun.
such an epic cast. Then I saw an actor from Eastenders :geno:

Yay, James Nesbit.
Everybody rumoured for Bilbo is getting a role.
David Tennant next.
David Tennant as King Thranduil?
Michael Fassbender as Bard?
I'm thinking David Tennant for King Dain
Ian Mckellen still not signed on to The Hobbit!

This should have been the first thing they did.
Now no one will watch the animated classic :frown:
Just started reading the book. Looking forward to the movie too.
The first time I saw it I enjoyed (and still sorta do) the animated one, it just needs a new touch to it which is exactly whats happening.

The animated Hobbit is like 10x better then any of the other animated films set in Middle Earth, trust me, it'll do fine.
I remember I wanted to read The Hobbit back in elementary school but they wouldn't let me check it out because it was "too advanced".
Fuck you too, school library.
just watched fellowship of the ring and two towers extended editions the other day
good way to spend 7 hours

Hahaha, that one is hilarious.
They are in need of short extras to play Hobbits. If you fit any of these descriptions, then GO FOR IT!

Sadly I'm too tall :( Nor do I live in NZ.
I could always walk on my knees?... Lie down?
I would be down to live in a hobbit house but a bit taller, they seem to be pretty nice for keeping warm.

Definitely, it's not awful like the LOTR animated series.
Yeah, the LOTR movies were a clusterfuck of awkwardness.
