One fail-proof way of really improving your English is to read a lot of books. My first language is English, but I don't speak it at home. But the fact that I've been reading since I was 7-8, helps. I always thought that English was a difficult language to speak because we have a billion different ways of expressing a single idea, but all of them have subtly different meanings. "Guy" is different from "man", which is different from "bloke", "dude", etc. And there are so many irregular verbs, and then we have to use [b]three[/b] verbs to express the future tense in some cases (I [b]am going[/b] to [b]go[/b]) ... the list goes on. I suppose it's because English is a mixture of Greek, Latin, Norwegian, German and French, because we've been invaded by so many people. And the different accents don't help either. Britain has the highest accent-density in the world if I'm not mistaken. Sometimes you have a different accent for two villages 20 miles from each other. I sympathise with anyone learning English as a second language.

I like english, it's over complicated, but i like that lots of things all over the world are also in my language

because English is one of the most spoken languages on the world and one of the easiest to learn for that matter. I've been doing Spanish for about 2 years and i suck at it.
