That's just chrome's rendering, there's one of those gaps after each number in the replies box too. It looks fine in firefox.

I liked the red bar too, but to be honest I'm not too bothered it was gone, it's not THAT significant or important.
Seriously, having that userlist off to the side looks like you just forgot to set a clear rule in your CSS. Doesn't look professional.

Daw but the stripes make everything look less bland.
I'm not entirely sure how to solve the ratings and the options on the top bar, but this is my temporary solution:

Well I really just removed the spaces that I personally feel are unecessary.
Everything that has a function is still intact.

I actually like this it flows nicely and saves space, but the subscribe button and reply need flipping and - placing in the middle to split them.
Garry should bring back fp design from before. No one will whine.

I'm from LA, California, and in my area 'tight' and other variants of 'cool' are commonly heard/used among people around my age.
I despise the Metro design aesthetic and find it extremely bland, but its application to FP here is so minor that it doesn't really change much. I'm keeping my darker shade of blue though.
