I just figured out what my College University could do for a grant :v:
that is amazing
there's one little detail that the report missed: Stuxnet was spread via some sort of USB thumb drive. As in, stuxnet infected thumb drives first, then spread itself to computers that they were plugged into. SO: A) some iranian guy downloaded something infected with stuxnet B) stuxnet copies itself onto the thumbdrive C) the iranian guy, unaware of the infection, plugs the thumb drive into the computer controlling the nuclear reactors, or a computer in the same network as it. D) Stuxnet copies itself over onto the computer again - via autorun.ini abuse E) Stuxnet spreads itself via abuse of ARP to discover other computers on the network. F) Stuxnet runs. Explains how the computers were infected when they were not connected to the internet.
