alot of people don't like bears. Most shave because their beard bothers them and is really itchy.

I see what you did there
When you get older you have bigger things to think about other then your hair. It's easier for most to just keep it trimmed.

That is very true as well. After about a week I feel like I have scotch bright pads glued to my face.

Precisely, you have other concerns, like DYING... so why not leave this world with a bang?

Learn Kung Fu > Grow Hair
Long hairs takes time, though old retired people DO have a lot of time on their hands.
Because beards are hard to maintain and old people are lazy
Is that from The Outlaw Josey Wales?
Actually, I think that's from Braveheart. Not entirely sure though.

They need to learn to deal with the itchiness. Like men. Men who discovered the wheel.

The men that discovered the wheel put razors on that wheel and shaved their faces.

Dude... how can you *not* like the idea of looking like Leonardo Da Vinci when you get old?

lol, what was I thinking....Van Gouh
Because most men are not badass enough to handle the almighty long-hair-and-Viking-beard combo. Only true warriors, wearing their Belt of Badassery and wielding their Fabled +1 Sword of Epic can wield such a hairdo.
:buddy:
Once I'm in my 70s I'm going to a kickass long beard and use a cane thats actually a sword so when those youngsters pick on me ill fuck them up with my shurikens as if i were in NARUTO
yeahhh
At someone else said, when you turn old, you'll lose more hair.
Aristoteles had a kickass beard.

Who are some of the people in todays world that have long hair and beards?
I'll be bald by 35, and I don't even get a kickass beard for it in return, just asshair and a moustache.

This thread is about old guys, not gentleman.
If I stop getting balder at some point, and perhaps get a blank spot on my head, I'm so going to grow a long, massive hair.

Except I hope I don't look like that when I'm old.
What happened to the awesome beards of the 1800s?
They weren't as large as Da Vinci or Aristotle, but still cool.

I'm in a town in Washington state and it would seem that every old guy here has a beard. I think it's something to so with the hippies on the west coast.

Wow, that a long one. If he went for a walk he could just shove the lower part down the front of his pants to keep warm. Although then his beard would smell like balls.
Just think about it... you can start growing your hair and beard today! Just imagine how long your hair and beard will be by the time you guys are pushing 60! lol

Don't forget longer beards need more maintenance or you end up carrying your leftovers around for everyone to see.

Those aren't for everyone to see, they're to snack on later!
