Eh. the PT cruiser always came off to me as an interesting show car, but a wildly impractical one in real-world applications. My sister-in-law drives one and it is cramped as shit. Also notable is the fact that every PT cruiser I've ever seen is driven by a girl. Granted, I don't see many, but still.
What? How is it cramped? Ours is quite roomy on the inside and it's incredibly practical for moving stuff around, because it's a properly tall hatchback. The only impractical thing about it is the MPG that is equivalent to our old Explorer and the fact that its turning circle is 25% wider than my mom's F-150. Also it's a fairly quick little car, moderately fun to drive.

I'm one of the shorter members of my family and I had some problems with that. As for practicality, it's got less cargo space than my old wagon. I could fit five people and some stuff in the back of that thing with little overhang, but with the PT we barely fit four people in with a baby, and had our cargo was hitting the back of my dad's and my heads.

Not sure why you're having so much trouble. However you are comparing it to a station wagon, when it should really be compared to a 5-door hatch, which is what it is. And for a hatchback, it's very good.

As for it being a hatchback, if that's the case, why does it get the same gas mileage as a mid-size SUV? That's pretty shitty for a Hatch, all things considered.
Ford Scorpio. It's like they left the clay design model out in the sun for six hours. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/22/Ford_Scorpio_front_20080214.jpg[/t] [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ea/Ford_Scorpio_rear_20080214.jpg[/t]
I think the front is ok. but that rear, what on earth
I think the front is ok. but that rear, what on earth
It looks like something only old geezers would drive.
It looks like something only old geezers would drive.
And even then, only if they had no other choice.

So it seems ford's way of making the Scorpio is to melt the front and rear ends until they don't resemble the original Taurus's anymore. It's the start of Ford's blobby design phase, incarnate!

If I HAD to have a CUV, that one would be the one.
That jeep abomination looks like the perfect mate for the Ford Escape, now they need to make a baby so Dodge can reincarnate the PT Cruiser into a CUV to be king of ugly.

Can't remember if I've already posted this: but it hurts my eyes but I also would love having one with a huge ass wing and a Hayabusa engine.
This shit is hideous. The back in line with the drivers head. WTF.
ecomobile anyone? Yeah I know its a motorcycle but comon, its kinda ugly. But the new monotracer looks HELLA better

I don't want to start an argument, but I would like to know exactly what you're seeing in the design that isn't sitting well.
Bland and boring for me. The whole ass is oddly proportioned and the stance is weird with how high it sits.
Looks like the designers shortened up a people mover and cut the roof off, then added a lift kit.

tbh I think that concept is pretty ugly too
Different strokes, I guess. I personally love the look of the Airflite concept, probably because it's literally just a 4-door version of my car :v:

Maybe when I'm done working on my Chrysler Imperial I should make one.
1974 Bond Bug. It's like the lead designer looked at a wedge of cheese and thought "Yes! Perfect!" Not to mention that its stability was worse than a Reliant Robin's.
It's so low, how could it not be stable. :v:
