What do those of you that wear glasses do? Special safety glasses or just wear contacts for the day?

I don't personally wear glasses, but from what I've heard, contacts are the best, but most ballistic goggles can fit over glasses okay with some modification.
ESS land ops are ansi z87.1+ rated, approved by the murrican army to fit eyewear underneath, and will work with most glasses out of the box so long as they aren't excessively large
they're also cheap as fuck, check for them on ebay, i got mine for like $18 shipped with clear and smoke lenses, bag/soft case, and cleaning cloth
Well, apparently my AK is this one

To the UK peeps, I have a couple questions about UKARA
I initially thought that to get UKARA you needed to have completed 3 airsoft sessions within 2 months, but reading this:

How do players become members of an approved game site and eligible to buy RiF's?
The games site has to record you as a member and preferably issue you with a membership card. To qualify as an "airsoft skirmisher" you must be a regular player at that game site, having attended 3 games in a period which exceeds 2 months. Identification will also be required, such as passport and drivers license.
Due to service commitments I cannot play enough times when at home on leave to qualify.
The time period over which you have to play your 3 games is at the discretion of the participating game site providing the 3 games are not played in a time that is less than 2 months, the maximum time period is 12 months.
It seems you need actually need to do 3 sessions with at least 2 months between the first and third?
Also, does UKARA expire? Or are you essentially UKARA certified for life once you have completed the requirements?
Does anyone know where I can get new wiring for a rearwired v3 gearbox?
