we survived:
-Being in the open
-Being made hidden to anyone without the link
-Being deleted and remade as a shitty, non-functional "forum" when Groups were experimented with
-And being put out in the open again

the island is still here, that's what I dont get
its just a smaller island, people who didnt give a shit about airsoft still arent going to come here
people who want to troll/fuck with the community could do that before, we were still on the front page
If we get a dot com site we could probably branch off as a seperate community.
Get some of the older members as mods and try and get newer people to join

more like a small raft tied to a pier at this point given that we're confined to basically here (and partially the fb group) for discussion
I think the benefit of the subforum was that we were at the bottom where it was less obvious. You still have a point, though.
