Thinking nudity is the worst thing a child can see is just stupid. I while ago me and my step brother were watching various horror and action movies, with tons of gore and dismemberment etc. My little brother and sister were also watching even after we told my step-mum that they shouldn't be allowed to watch and they might get scared, but of course she didn't care. Then the second a pair of tits show up (For about 5 seconds and then none were ever seen again for the rest of the movie) She flips out and tells us to turn the movie off because there are children around. Christ, they've probably seen breasts before.

I disagree. Clothes are a social standard. Clothes denote human beings as an enlightened, civilized species, a notion that dates all the way back to the creation of the Bible. Besides practicality, clothing is a status symbol that expresses everything about you, not unlike stripes on a tiger or a bee. Nudity in public is discouraged because a nude person, in the real world, often symbolizes depravity and mental illness. Sex is a taboo subject for this very reason. You can't tell me two sweaty figures moaning and groaning, pawing and petting on a bed is not animalistic.
Most people wouldnt get a boner, due to cold/possible embarrasment/and being used to seing a bunch of people naked.

I agree, being nude shouldn't be a big deal at all, it's just how our culture formed. Rules of that aren't all of a sudden going to change, although they could over time if nudism becomes really popular.

Yeah. It IS animalistic. We ARE animals. Sex shouldn't be taboo however - we're one of the few species who have sex for pleasure rather than just to reproduce - the fact we can control ourselves to prevent actually spawning more of ourselves is a pretty good reflection of our intellect as a species. Hell, our sex lives are riddled with new-age contraception with all this science behind it - if that isn't a reflection of how far we've come as a species, I don't know what is.
Nudity only symbolizes depravity because we wear clothes, my point is, if we didn't, it wouldn't. Like you said, it's been a social standard since the creation of the Bible, because it got set in stone that we HAD to wear clothes... not because it was immoral not to, but because in Jewish Law, it said to wear clothes to protect yourself (a lot of Jewish Law, which the commandments and stuff're based around, is related to protection of people). At the time the world was ran by badass tyrants for centuries, and there was a pretty mean social heirarchy going on, hence why the richest wore the best clothes and the poorest had nothing. Getting rid of clothes would get rid of that vain symbolism - seperate someone from their clothes and their wealth, and you'll see who they really are, á la Emperor's New Clothes.
