Skyrim has a disturbing lack of Khajiit jokes That's my biggest issue
I find there is also a lack of Khajiits to accompany those jokes. Most of the Khajiits I've found so far are either crazed, skooma-addicted murderers, dead, or in a Khajiit caravan. Same with Argonians but not as bad. But then again, Skyrim wasn't culturally diverse as Cyrodiil.
Yeah you'd think since they're more hated in Skyrim, that people would make more jokes about them
Actually I'd think the jokes would exist in a more accepting society like Cyrodiil. At least, that's how I justified the lack of jokes. More racist comments like, "You look like my brother's cat. I killed that one too!" make sense to me.
I honestly didn't even know the flame atronach was a female form in oblivion. I always thought it was just a skinny humanoid, I never really payed attention to the "gender".
I think one of the other important improvements is the looks of flame atronach
So how long until nexus makes nude mods for flame atronachs ? And yeah it is a huge improvement I really should have compared them too but oh well.
This is a good vid. Just among the many others to show how the appearances improved over Oblivion's. Some races suffered worse in there than others- I think Orks in particular came off looking more cartoony and less 'tough' in Oblivion I think, they got the biggest improvement out of Skyrim as far as their appearance is concerned. I remember being very displeased with my character(s) in Oblivion many time because they looked weird. My first Imperial came off looking more like the missing link of evolution or something. Some of the faces in Skyrim look too 'rough' for my tastes, but it's definitely a big improvement over what Oblivion had. M'aiq references this improvement in the NPC appearances when you encounter him in Skyrim, since it was heavily promoted by Bethesda in the months leading up to Skyrim's release. "M'aiq has heard that the people of Skyrim are better looking than the ones in Cyrodiil. He has no opinion on the matter. All people are beautiful to him."
I think the racy comments that enemy npcs give you in skyrim are a great touch, but i'm a little disappointed that every single npc has the exact same 2 comments, even though they all appear to have different voices and voice actors. It would have been nice to have recorded different lines for each voice actor. Just mix an match or something, idk. "you'll make a fine cousin, rug"
Meanwhile in oblivion.
