You can set 0 to wherever you want for potential energy.
Energy can't really ever be negative though. Conservation of energy and whatnot.
That is incorrect.
OP and his ideas on energy are affected by the interaction of neural-energy and their natural bozon field, which results in the creation of one moron and the decay of two neurons. The moron has a half-life of 42 years.
I have been reading this book recently, and it really makes me believe in the idea of three types of intelligence, IQ (Intelligence Quotient) EQ (or EI, Emotional Intelligence) and finally SQ (Spiritual Intelligence) although I do not link it specifically to spirit science. Although I do believe there are some grounds to look into this subject, some things seem a little ridiculous.
JohnnyMo1, you appear to be very knowledgeable, is you day job (for lack of a better term) centered around science?

I am a physics and mathematics student.
This thread reminds me of this guy I saw while walking around the UC Davis campus.
He was advertising "quantum healing" and was "healing" these people by waving his hands in front of them and using "quantums" to heal them.
:v:
Energy can't really ever be negative though. Conservation of energy and whatnot.
Energy can be negative in the context of quantum stuffs, according to this article I read ages ago: http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ciencia/negativeenergy/negativeenergy.htm

Even in classical GR it can be negative. Inside the ergosphere of a Kerr black hole, a particle can have negative mass-energy. You can extract energy from a black hole's angular momentum by forcing it to eat a negative mass-energy particle.
I'm not a physics and mathematics student.
However, I have seen Stephen Hawking and related authors refer to gravity as 'negative energy' in their writings, could someone explain that?

quacks love to use the word quantum, even though most of them are uneducated morons who have no idea what it means.
1) You obviously watched none of the videos. As I explained to a previous user, they are the hub of the thread. My little introductions make no sense without them.
2) You did exactly what I requested you avoid. This shows both how well you read and how much you respect the ideas and opinions of your fellow man. Great job, scientist.
Just ponder this for a second: "The problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and the wiser people are so full of doubts."
Which are you, my friend?
he's right, honey. he is respecting your beliefs too.
What an excellent escape hatch for whenever somebody proves you wrong. There is a burden of proof, and it is resting on you. Prove this stuff works or be ridiculed by British comedians and scientists.
Um, there is no burden of proof because OP and the guy who made the video says over and over again that nothing is to be taken seriously. Also, I think comedians and scientists have more serious things to discuss other than a youtube series
Please don't use the word "Science". It disrespects people who spent lifetimes advancing human knowledge.
Because they gave you the authority to speak for them, how could I forget.
Frequency? Can I measure my thoughts in Hertz? If I have a frequency of 20 gigahertz am I an irrational person?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neural_oscillation
Keep in mind it's still a very young science. Which doesn't work to anyone's benefit.
This isn't as safe to peddle when you look at a person and assume they are an evil paedophile. They might punch you in the face if you say that. Plus it is rather easy to share interests or connect emotionally with a pet.
It doesn't make a bit of difference what conclusion you come to. What matters is what you do about it. Yeah, if you tell someone they are an evil paedophile in front of their family or some shit, yeah, you're a dipshit because of course you're going to get smacked. However, if you walk away and ignore the badvibes they give off, guess what, everyone wins. You don't have to be with a suspected paedophile and the guy doesn't get offended.
What about the heart regulating blood flow? Or the liver filtering out nasty shit?
Uh, they are automatic processes? They are constant effect systems that rely on a steady state of input. I mean, you can change them if you WANT to, but you'd have to be pretty ungrateful to impose on what you were given
I have a fetish with regards to this area. I should masturbate in a room with orange lighting to enhance the orgasm.
Did you ever notice how most fast food chains have red and yellow as their main colors?
Good lord, so chakras can be blocked and inbalanced? Make up your mind.
....where is the contradiction here?
Minus the blatant sexism here, I wish to ask how transgenders fit into this. Secondly, how I can measure this energy in joules.
I guess nature itself is sexist, because men have dicks and women don't.
Also, it's about the mental state of gender, not the physical one. Transgenders can choose whatever the fuck they want to be
Minus the wide use of factors to ensure a massive selection of people, I wish to ask what the fuck negative energy is. I've never heard of "-500 Joules".
"Energy" is a surrogate word that's being used to describe something abstract. OP could have used chi or a bunch of other words. This is covered in the video somewhere
Like quantum physics.
In the event this is sarcasm, I'd like to point out that quantum physics is a new theory and is continuously being revised
I'm certainly shocked. So is the scientific community. We have all been disproven. We shall try to shoehorn this shit in, I promise you we can.
Because he was trying to disprove everything? Jesus, why is everything a competition?
Well we have multiple dimensions. Length, breadth, height, time, etc. You do not seem to use that phrase well. Also I am curious as how I can understand how to interact with a triangle by using music? Maybe Pink Floyd can tell me pythagoras theorem so I can work out a side of a triangle?
Did you even watch the video? It's much more fundamental than that you ass
Also 'dimensions' is a pretty bad term; should have been more like 'levels'. If you consider alternate dimensions to exist, then you can't be sure they follow the same logic that makes up ours. Remember, speculation
So the frequencies AND wavelengths vary? What of? Batshit insanity?
Assuming you mean how they are bound by the speed of light, they can if you fuck around with your perception of time
Such as?
Uh, all of them
I found it to be lacking in intellectual vigour, making up by using quackery instead.
[sp]lol I thought so as well[/sp]
I fell over laughing. I hope the evolution topic covered next will contain science.
The earth is billions of years old
Yes we did. If you go back, you will find various species meeting up to have a common ancestor.
That may be the case, but why did humans evolve unimaginably fast compared to everything else?
Jesus shit have you even read a science book? I have a big book on explaining why shit works. Its illustrated with mammoths. I could lend you it.
I have this book, please tell me where it teaches about the fundamentals as fundamental as the video postulates
edit
you guys ever go to the creepy thread? http://youtu.be/las_Giy3f9I
greatness.
Not enough green checks to accurately portray my emotions right now :P

That's like Hawking radiation, right?
That's like Hawking radiation, right?
Kind of, but the way I'm talking about is non-quantum mechanical. Read up on the Penrose process. They're pretty different, but Hawking radiation does something analogous.
