If you want to spend about $20 a patch I can get you this guy's grandma's friend to help you.
EDIT: See, this is why I never wanted to pay into this.
Sigh. Should I take over the reigns then? I'm mildly competent.
D'aww :(
So uh, is anyone taking over this? I'm still willing to buy some of dem patches.
Frag, u taking over this?
frag we love you pls do it ill blow u
Urgh, let me shop around for patch sites tomorrow. Also, I *may* just take out a lump sum and do it outright. It will be a little more expensive for you US folk as I'll be shipping from the UK, but it'll get done.
I hooked us up with a deal a while back from ProImageCrest.
Thanks for your reply. I can bring the price down a bit (I'll just say I'm competing with another quote), but what may be even more helpful is I can set it up as an order of qty. 20 by making 25 and keeping 5 for samples:
Price without PVC backing:
Qty. 20 @ $5.90 = $118.00
Price with PVC:
Qty. 20 @ $6.06 = $121.20
then i brought him down another 45c a piece
With default backing (before adding Velcro):
Qty. 20 - 49 @ $5.45
Qty. 50 - 74 @ $3.55
Qty. 75 - 99 @ $2.75
Qty. 100 - 149 @ $2.25
Add Velcro for $0.75:
Qty. 20 - 49 @ $6.20
Qty. 50 - 74 @ $4.30
Qty. 75 - 99 @ $3.50
Qty. 100 - 149 @ $3.00
I would definitely do the aforementioned deal from PIC, shipping worries me though.
If he sends them in envelops through regular mail it can't be more than like $3 or so.

Bingo, it won't be. If it is, fuck it, who cares?
OK venom, how many should we go for?

Well, if we can make 50, we'd get a lot more bang for our dollahz. But can we sell off 50 patches?

Fuck yes we can sell off 50 patches.
So, $4.30 a patch eh? I'll have to work out postage too, heck, in an envelope it'll probably only be a few $ to the US, but will get confirmation from the post office tomorrow.
Let's be pessimistic now and say $7 a patch, I know it's a little high, but would you folks be willing to pay that?
I was going to order 4 patches at $5
So for $7 I'd pay for 2.
If we're talking $5 without shipping I'll buy 4 again but I don't mind throwing an extra three or four bucks ontop of that for shipping. But I'm not going to pay shipping per-patch.
Post in GD, have 200 patches sold in seconds.

It'll be the $4.30 sans shipping, and let's say $3 for 1-2 patches, $4 for 3 or more (as UK postage rates abroad are fucking ridiculous), is that more managable? I'm not out to make a profit here, in fact I'll probably be at a loss.
I'd say we go for the non-velcro one
but yeah I can pay ~$7
wait how much for three then
two to canada and one to the united states
4.30 a patch without shipping I'd buy 4. Than I'll pay whatever shipping is. I can definitely do that.
I prefer Velcro but I'll do either or.
i just have a buttload of industrial-strength velcro lying around
but if we want velcro, i can pay for it too

I'd say go for velcro. I've seen tons of attempts to velcro up a non-velcro patch and they all either look shit, or suffer failure when used on arms or areas that flex.
its better we get velcro from factory
OK, shipping to the US would cost £1.82, so that's $2.94, looks like my estimates are good. Will make a new thread in the morn.
Ironically, I'm gonna wanna buy a patch or two...

i velcro'd my freedom patch, shit works great
although yeah factory velcro would save me time
Factory velcro is the way to go. I do my own velcro on patches sometimes and it's definitely not the same.

No it is ironic, you were all buying patches from me, now I'm the one buying the patch from him. Is that ironic?
ye i guess it's somewhat ironic, if you're talking bout situational irony
Dear Sierra Nevada and Stone breweries - you're too damn good.
Thread tomorrow when I sober up.
Labrot & Garham Woodford Reserve here, buddy. Along with some kind of spiced whiskey, goes down like water.
Looking forward to thread in a few hours.
