I really need to know now, because I booked my tickets for Saturday when we first decided on that date, only to find it had been moved to Sunday. I was going to ring up and alter my tickets today, but if it's back on Saturday I won't need to do that. Please can we keep a day and stick to it?

No, I'll still need somewhere to sleep whatever date we decide on.
But Saturday definitely works better for me, with my calendar and the fact I've bought tickets to arrive on that day.
