Just reading the conversation made me really angry, i feel sorry for you mate. It's not the fact they think Mac is better, it's the fact they think they are much smarter than you and refuse to be corrected.
I'm an apple fanboy (because I have had bad experiences on windows) and to me, these guys are full of more shit than my computing teacher. She can't count for fucks sake.

I have someone like this in my uni group only it's with sonic, doom, halo and some other pointless shit and I just want to beat the shit out of him.

I once met a Apple fanboy and started arguing with him why he bought such a expensive notebook when he could have got a cheaper notebook from another brand, but then he told my it's specs and how much it cost and it wasn't even that overpriced. :saddowns:

my theory: using Mac products dvelops a 'mac tumor' in your brain, and every time you use a mac it grows bigger.
it controls your thoughts, erases all good memories wil PC's and replaces them with bad, and releases endorphins when you think about macs. the tumors also communicate with each-other, alerting each-other to a local PC user.

I have no real reason to use a PC any more over a mac (aside from 3DS Max, but then I could dual boot for that)

Get your PC in there, boot up steam, and play all the games you possibly can and laugh at them cause they will never have that much fun. Then while you're laughing at them for that tell them to right click, then laugh again.

No, it's a gimmick. Since Apple charges exorbitant amounts of money for their machines, they usually cater to the people willing to pay high prices for hardware.
Manufacturers of accessories for Apple machines caught on to this and also jacked their prices up and all you really get is an extra sticker somewhere on the product that says "MAC COMPATIBLE".
The RAM is 100% the same as the PC part, you just pay 500% more for it and get the "MAC COMPATIBLE" sticker.
Macs make terrible home computers.

fyi I have a macbook and a PC and an Imac. Pc comes out on top. I use the mac's for internet only, and even then it's not safari its firefox which is avalible on pc.
