It was warm in the morning, but then it rained in the afternoon. California is a bitch sometimes.
This is why California is the best state. WEST SIDE TIL I DIE
Rural Northeast Georgia represent on second thought I don't want to represent or even ask why I'm here ufu
So our Willy Wonka overlords at Hershey have decided to ban the sale of Cadbury chocolate in the US, since they apparently secured the rights to the production and distribution here. Yay.
I hardly eat chocolate or junk food in general, so I'm unconcerned.
Bad state, worse drivers. Sincerely, Pennsylvania.
All you have is farms and no turn-on-reds. We have infrastructure, running water and Camden.
hopefully they don't touch lindt those truffles are divine
I hardly eat chocolate or junk food in general, so I'm unconcerned.
Yeah, but making mountains out of culinary molehills is literally my job.
All you have is farms and no turn-on-reds. We have infrastructure, running water and Camden.
Wait, there are states where the whole place bans turning on red?
holy shit i would actually just hang myself if i moved somewhere with no right turn on red
yeah pennsylvania is dumb like that also everything is overpriced as fuck out there i feel bad for my relatives who think it's such a great place to be.
I'm kind of concerned my car would just explode if I moved to a state like that. It already gets angry with me when I'm stuck in traffic. The thing misfires or stalls when idle. Pretty often. I don't have money to get it fixed, and it's apparently a common problem that crops back up even after repairs, so I just sort of have to keep moving or throw it in neutral and rev the engine if I'm not. Never buy a Mini Cooper. They're fun little cars, but temperamental as all hell.
Wait, there are states where the whole place bans turning on red?
Not sure, but I know there are places that don't allow it at all. Which beyond fucking barbaric.
I miss Oregon Arizona blows. Been stuck in Phoenix the past few years for the military. Can't wait to go back forever and ever <3 [editline]28th January 2015[/editline] I think the U.S. as a whole needs to be way more enthusiastic about yield signs

I mean that we need to place more of them. I think lots of stop signs could be replaced by yield signs and speed up travel.
honestly I think our highway speed system needs to be replaced with the german autobahn system
German autobahns are famous for having no universal motorway speed limit, although slightly more than 50% of them have posted speed limits and about 10% are equipped with motorway control systems that can show variable speed limits. There is no national speed limit, either, for cars and motorcycles on any highway outside of towns if it has a central reservation or a minimum of two marked lanes per direction. Due to this it is common to be overtaken by cars or motorcycles travelling over 200 km/h (125 mph). On such roads, as well as motorways, a recommended speed limit of 130 km/h (81 mph) applies. While driving at higher speeds is not punishable, the increased risk induced by higher speeds may result in partial liability for damages.
Its just annoying being on a highway literally all by myself or just totally sporadic cars and having to go 65 or 70 or just because some asshole cop's out to trap people just because they want to get over a large distance quicker

If we can't fix that shit I wont go faster than 85 in a 55.
I mean that we need to place more of them. Missouri has a pretty good amount of them, but I've heard a lot of bitching.
Speaking of traffic laws, do other states have many roundabouts? Missouri has a pretty good amount of them, but I've heard a lot of bitching.
They're catching on down here in Georgia. I think Atlanta has a fair few, and they're slowly creeping in down here in Macon.
Speaking of traffic laws, do other states have many roundabouts? You just gotta be quick and decisive about it. [editline]28th January 2015[/editline] Because the drivers in this state are all wicked aggressive.
Speaking of traffic laws, do other states have many roundabouts?
Speaking of traffic laws, do other states have many roundabouts? Missouri has a pretty good amount of them, but I've heard a lot of bitching.
There's only one that I know of in all of South Jersey. It's tiny and out in the middle of no where, surrounded by farmlands. It could easily be replaced with a four-way stop, I honestly don't know why it exists, let alone there. I've never seen more than 1 other car than myself on it.
My boy Bernie Sanders has filed a $1 trillion infrastructure spending bill. I really hope it passes, American roads and bridges are pathetic.
Part of the problem is that the potholes here. Man, Washington seems pretty cool. I wanna go there some day.
New York is not a tourist death trap, NYC is. As a person who lives in Buffalo where we get about 8 feet of snow on a regular basis. No one really comes here to vist because you'll come here and you'll never leave cause you can never find your car.
Another western New Yorker! Rochester here, less snow but also less money and tourism.
Man, Washington seems pretty cool. I wanna go there some day.
Any particular reason why?
Any particular reason why?
It seems to have really nice national parks, and cities like Leavenworth look pretty cool.
I miss Oregon Arizona blows. Been stuck in Phoenix the past few years for the military. Can't wait to go back forever and ever <3 [editline]28th January 2015[/editline] I think the U.S. as a whole needs to be way more enthusiastic about yield signs
once you live in phoenix you won't leave
once you live in phoenix you won't leave
What? Do you mean that as in I won't want to leave? Because I live there, and I want to leave. Or do you mean that it's a black hole and I won't be able to? Because I definitely will. The only thing keeping me here is a contract.
