The most interesting thing today, on the police scanner I heard something, then I picked out the word "Narcan" followed by a "3" I think. So somebody is in deep shit for a multitude of reasons now.
Narcan, or Naloxone, is a drug of the opioid antagonist class used to counter the effects of opiates, usually heroin overdoses. Police use it sometimes when they get a call of a heroin overdose.

pretty much. they give you the naloxone, make sure you can breathe, and then bring you to the hospital where they treat you for opiate withdrawal. iirc you're not usually charged for the heroin possession if you're overdosing.

It doesn't restart someones heart. You can't flat-line and be injected with Narcan and magically return to Sinus rhythm. Once they flat-line its CPR time.

I had lunch with some of my coworkers at Whole Foods today.
Weird place to have lunch, but the food's pretty good. Their dessert counter is no slouch either.
Still not sure where I want to take that whole photographer thing. She's friendly, but I just don't think she really has any interest in me. I could be projecting, though; I struggle with a fear of rejection and self-esteem issues. Doesn't help that I can't get her out of my head...
