Why the hell is that even a law honestly, it seems like one of those things they made just so people have 'jobs'
Yeah, no, that's exactly why it's a law.
Ew, North Jersey people
U wanna go m8?
Why the hell is that even a law honestly, it seems like one of those things they made just so people have 'jobs'
It actually doesn't create jobs. Most gas stations have only one person who runs them. The only thing that law does is makes him get off his ass at the register and actually go to the pump. Other places that double as convenient stores, like Wawa, have one less person in the store just to have them out in the gas area. It literally creates no extra jobs, just rearranges who does what at the pump. [editline]23rd December 2014[/editline] On the bright side, when it's 20 degrees outside, all I have to do is roll down my window for a couple minutes instead of getting out and freezing while I fill it up. $2.25 in Montgomery. I can fill my little Nissan Versa for 10 bucks
$2.25 in Montgomery. I can fill my little Nissan Versa for 10 bucks
Thats a great deal.
In my experience, American accents you hear on television are extremes of what majority of people in those regions actually sound like. Rarely will you come across a southern man whose speech is so drawn out that it's hardly understandable outside of other southern men and so forth.
Alabamian here and I can confirmed that nobody has thick southern draws aside from a few farm type folks or older generation. Hell I lived here all my life and I get looks from people asking me if I'm from Virginia or North Carolina because I sound different.
I swung by Walmart on a break from work and saw gas at $1.79. I'm too excited by this progression.
I swung by Walmart on a break from work and saw gas at $1.79. I'm too excited by this progression.
Jesus fuck do you live in Mississippi or something? That's usually where I find the cheapest gas.
People always told me growing up that I didn't really have an accent, but I figured it out a few years ago. I've apparently got a Midwestern accent despite growing up in a southern family in Tennessee. It kind of makes sense, my dad has a lot of family from the Midwest, and until very recently he had a very neutral accent as well. He did start to pick up a little southern tinge a few years ago, though. Accents are weird.
Watching the Rooster Teeth podcast, and they said Americans don't butter their bread for sandwiches. Is this true?
Watching the Rooster Teeth podcast, and they said Americans don't butter their bread for sandwiches. Is this true?
we can't have you here pls go
Watching the Rooster Teeth podcast, and they said Americans don't butter their bread for sandwiches. Is this true?
I don't know about everyone else, but I've personally never put butter on a sandwich (not counting grilled cheese). Mayonnaise is where it's at, but please don't go overboard with it.
Watching the Rooster Teeth podcast, and they said Americans don't butter their bread for sandwiches. Is this true?
A lot of people do. I don't though, because it doesn't really add anything to the sandwich IMO.
A lot of people do. I don't though, because it doesn't really add anything to the sandwich IMO.
Extra cholesterol. Which is fine if you eat healthy otherwise, but we tend to eat butter on a lot other things too.
Watching the Rooster Teeth podcast, and they said Americans don't butter their bread for sandwiches. Is this true?
Only time I ever buttered bread was for a cheese sandwich. For everything else, never. Butter is for toast and pancakes.
Watching the Rooster Teeth podcast, and they said Americans don't butter their bread for sandwiches. Is this true?
If theres one thing that Americans are sensitive about, its whether you put Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip on your sandwich.
I mean, If I'm just eating some bread, I'll put some butter on it, but not if it's a sandwich.
If theres one thing that Americans are sensitive about, its whether you put Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip on your sandwich.
Fuck Miracle Whip.
if im making my own sandwich i usually butter it, most restaurants dont though
Merry Christmas, all.
Happy Jul!
It's still Christmas Eve. For like another 40 minutes, even.
