Daredevil has good choreography. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh.
Iron Fist was weird in that most of the bad fights involved Danny. Well, except that drunken dude, that one was pretty cool.
Nah, bad example, because it is unverisal that Daredevil's(both seasons) fight scenes are :ok:, while I haven't seen other shows other than The Defenders, I can definitely say that the fight scenes in Defenders were nowhere near close to Daredevil's both seasons. I think he meant all other shows except for DD.
Defenders was like the worst of all the shows put together.
They removed all of the character development from each character other than Daredevil making the first few episodes even more of a slog than they already were. Then the second half of the show just got dumb.
I can definitely say that the fight scenes in Defenders were nowhere near close to Daredevil's both seasons.
Punisher and Daredevil actually take damage in fights and they're fairly believable. Compare that to the defenders (or the last bit of DD S2) where every single bad guy doesn't have a gun for some fucking reason.

In the comics, Jessica Jones can fly like Superman, Luke Cage can throw cars around, and Iron Fist can move fast enough to pluck bullets out of the air plus use the Iron Fist itself a lot more and charge it into other limbs, its also a lot more powerful even then, like that time he turned into a human bullet to destroy a train. The hand are also pretty much all supposed to be like Nobu from DD Season 1. Not suit guys, red zombie ninja guys with chain sickles and swords.

The more there are in one place, the weaker they are. Nobu was alone in their fight, so he was very strong.
Looks like he's going to have the outfit really early into the show so that is a good sign Meanwhile IF couldn't find a bandanna in an entire season + defenders
Honestly I'm not a huge fan of this outfit. I always think that either the trench coat designs or the ones where he's just wearing a t-shirt with the Punisher logo are the best ones. I think Frank looks the coolest when he just looks like a dude that put a skull logo on his shirt and threw on some clothes he had lying around at home rather than looking too much like he's trying to dress up like a super hero.

Like they didnt look cool or do cool things or had cool weapons, they just turned into tactical suit guys eventually and randos in street clothes or suits with bare fists. To be honest it took me awhile to realize Nobu was back in DDS2. He was so awesome in S1 but so.. forgettable in S2.
didn't Finn Jones only get cast and start learning karate like a week before they started filming? i remember hearing that he got really screwed over in pre-production
Honestly, I don't care. His comments when IF started getting shit reviews have drained any sympathy I might have had for him.
I want this to be good, though I'm not sure I like the guy who is currently playing Frank Castle. I'm hoping for something like this:
Was that Rob Zombie music?
Was that Rob Zombie music?
Metallica. War Zone had a Rob Zombie song for it though.
Honestly, I don't care. His comments when IF started getting shit reviews have drained any sympathy I might have had for him.
What was he saying?
What was he saying?
I think he might be referring to the whole " this show isn't made for critics but for fans" and that critics are seeing the show through some "special lens". At least, that's what comes up for me when I look it up on google.
What was he saying?
It's not for critics, IF has one of the most diverse casts in Marvel history and even claiming that the bad reviews were because people think Danny Rand is too similar to Donald Trump.
I find the " not for critics" defense really stupid. Critics are able to sit back and correctly judge a show accordingly. Critics LOVED Daredevil for example and many other marvel products.
"for the fans" is always one of the dumbest justifications ever, they said the same thing about MoS and Batman V Supes for some perspective
Metallica. War Zone had a Rob Zombie song for it though.
Damn I just pissed off some Metallica fans.

If this show can keep that up it'll easily be the best of the Netflix Marvel shows so far. Of course nothing is guaranteed, Daredevil was great in season 1 and pretty good in season 2 but lame in Defenders.

I just hope we get to have Terry Crews playing this fine gentleman in later seasons:
I dunno, I always thought Frank Castle would be more of a "Battery" guy, not a "One" guy.
They used Metallica's One, that was awesome.
Honestly, I don't care. His comments when IF started getting shit reviews have drained any sympathy I might have had for him.
Not to mention he's a pretty bad actor regardless. He tries to go for the always-intense thing but severely undersells it, especially in his voice. It's like he's doing a hushed yelling all the time and he just comes off as a brat.
I just hope we get to have Terry Crews playing this fine gentleman in later seasons:
Nah. I want Barracuda as much as anyone but Terry doesnt feel like him enough. He's too handsome and babyfaced. He's also too lean, Barracuda needs to be built like a wall, he needs to be real wide, i mean Terry is a big guy but he's not the same kind of big as 'Cuda, he's more of a Luke Cage kind of looking guy. Michael Clarke Duncan would've been perfect but alas...
There are two comic characters I distinctly want to have series. Punisher and Constantine. Constantine lost his, so Punisher getting one has helped make up for that. And it looks so fantastic.
Terry Tate should be Barracuda.
