ye nice fight from DD,
one problem, why those in other room recovering can't use theirs spare gun
wait too many bad guys way too 'alive' for way too long
oh wait, cripple or kill main hero mid fight scene is not good for views ;)
so let's hope the tP rooms shootouts are actually less magic and more aim
I dunno, I always thought Frank Castle would be more of a "Battery" guy, not a "One" guy.
Considering the themes of One, I'm not surprised at all.
Honestly, I don't care. His comments when IF started getting shit reviews have drained any sympathy I might have had for him.
He reacted poorly, but I don't see why that is a big enough deal for you to lose all sympathy for the guy
Besides, the fight scene stuff has nothing to do with whether he's a likable person. No one can nail down choreography they've learned in 15 minutes

If you're gonna act like a child and basically throw tantrums when people call out your shit acting in a not-so-good series, I'm not exactly inclined to take anything you say seriously, nor am I inclined to care about schedules screwing you over.
No, nobody can really do well with choreography they need to get down on such short notice and I won't fault him for it. But being such a whiny bitch about critics doesn't exactly endear him to people.
When asked about the early reviews by Metro.co.uk, Jones said: ‘Well I think there’s multiple factors. What I will say is these shows are not made for critics, they are first and foremost made for the fans.
‘I also think some of the reviews we saw were seeing the show through a very specific lens, and I think when the fans of the Marvel Netflix world and fans of the comic books view the show through the lens of just wanting to enjoy a superhero show, then they will really enjoy what they see.
‘I think it’s a fantastic show which is really fun and I think it stands up there with the other Defenders’ shows without a doubt,’ he added.
This seems like a very standard and reasonable reaction to bad reviews. His Trump comments a little less so, but even then not exactly outrageous. If anyone here's being whiny, it's you, not Finn Jones
I'm fairly enthusiastic so far, I want it to be as close to the comics as possible. Bernthal looks pretty invested in the character, Steve Lightfoot's work in Hannibal was fantastic, so this could be pretty good.
Considering what we've seen in the trailer, I sorta recognize the "In The Beginning" and "Valley Forge, Valley Forge" story arcs, but we'll have to wait and see. I don't trust Netflix to adapt the MAX story arcs faithfully... otherwise they'd never hear the end of people whinging over the problematic points of the story arcs, even if Punisher fans commend them for taking it that far. Still, fairly enthusiastic.
As for the release date, it should be coming out November 10th -- Marine Core was founded on that day. Veterans Day is the 11th.
Nah.
I want Barracuda as much as anyone but Terry doesnt feel like him enough. He's too handsome and babyfaced. He's also too lean, Barracuda needs to be built like a wall, he needs to be real wide, i mean Terry is a big guy but he's not the same kind of big as 'Cuda, he's more of a Luke Cage kind of looking guy.
Michael Clarke Duncan would've been perfect but alas...
Agreed, Michael Clarke Duncan would have absolutely NAILED the part.

i'm pretty sure everyone who says a racial slur in Punisher MAX gets their brains blown out two pages later so it's probably fine
I've been looking forward to this since I heard about it being planned for production, just judging by the trailer, it feels a bit different, but I think it still works.
I think Jon Bernthal was a good cast for Frank, he's capable of giving off the vibe that Frank gives off in his performances as far as I've seen.
Bernthal seems like the kind of actor who could pull this off right and on top of that he's said he's taken some time to observe and gain inspiration from Dirty Laundry and Punisher MAX. I just hope we get to have Terry Crews playing this fine gentleman in later seasons:
Doesn't Netflix Marvel have a policy where they refuse to use "hard curse words"? Besides shit, ass, and bitch everything is off limits? No nudity either. Kinda like The Walking Dead.

It hasnt been stated but in practice, yes.
Which makes me hesitant to actually want Barracuda to show up until thats dealt with, cause you cant have the 'Cuda without letting him throw around every dirty word in the book.
I would move heaven and earth for Cuda but he'll be SERIOUSLY hard to adapt to TV.
