Is it weird that I can still be impressed by that tech demo? :v: I remember how I'd never been so amazed by anything before when I saw half life 2's physics for the first time.
The part where he breaks stuff and it seems things have actual weight was so fucking awesome back in the day.
Irah, (or however you spell it) was pretty real looking until you saw his teeth. Those need work.
This engine will be great for that CGI trailer for new COD.

Did anyone else ever get a CD in like 2003 (I think it came bundled with another game, maybe Painkiller or Unreal or something), which was basically a HL2 trailer disc that had a whole bunch of these trailers on?
I wish I had kept it, it got scratched to hell because I was awful with CDs when I was younger and its probably been thrown out. I have been looking around to find out what game it came with but I cant find a single thing about it.

Weird, I never owned C:Z, really bugging me that I have absolutely no idea where that thing came from.
And even that's a released game in 2003. We're talking about tech demos.

How do you just forget about 10 years?
So when did we forget that teeth aren't supposed to look like cardboard cutouts?
I think they really nailed how light reflects off of the skin.
I like how they show this after they publish a game with probably the worst visuals of this console generation [sp]TWD: Survival Instinct[/sp]
